    Man I am so conflicted. Feels like I switch between Stroud and Young every week. Honestly, glad I don't have to make the decision.

    I tend to agree, I have never seen this much confusion over what we are doing in the draft, or what free agents we are bringing. For example, no one saw Miles Sanders actually getting signed. People listed him as a good fit, but to me that came out of nowhere. Didn't see him connected by anyone.

    I think we need a 3/4 LB, WR and get all the lineman you can find. Protect our rookie at all costs.

    I think you could get the second rounder - depends on how much of a threat they feel the Colts are. I doubt we would move to 4 though. I'm perfectly happy staying at one and taking CJ Stroud or Bryce Young.

    I'll still be baffled in Young is out consideration. That is just a bit to farfetched to be true.

    Well by that standard you have 2x the chance not selecting him than selecting him.

    I kind of look at this way. If I'm Fit and Reich am I risking my last chance as a coach and GM on the incredible rawness of Anthony Richardson? Maybe I'm adverse to extreme risk, but I am certainly not. I would go with the somewhat less risker option with a probable great return. Which in this case would be Young or Stroud.

    I think it's more concerning, if true, that we have completely removed ourselves from one of the top guys. Not very good due diligence if you ask me.

    What is your sources thought on Young, he just out of the picture?

    I will he thrilled regardless, but really think Young should be the guy.

    I think with out a shadow of a doubt they have a 1a they want with a 1b close behind and the upcoming prodays and visits will confirm their initial decision or make it a harder choice.

    I don't know how anyone can argue that Drake Maye isn't good. Dude is gonna be the ipt pick next year, mostly for the same reason we are arguing Stroud/Young. But that's not the point of this thread. Bryce is this years best QB and should be our pick.

    Don't think that the Panthers haven't been pouring time and money into every potential QB since about week 5 of last year. They absolutely have a favorite and were willing to trade up for him. Everything coming is all about confirming their guy or pivoting.

    I didn't say he was one now, I said he has the potential. Obviously you can't make thar assumption with out him playing a down first.

    I started out big time wanting Stroud, but the more I've watched and seen what Bryce is, the more I'm convinced he is the potential HoF of this class. That said I won't be mad with Stroud, but I'm firmly on the Bryce train now.

    A lot of experience in that room, I doubt t they are panicking. They do need to stick to their initial impressions going in though.

    I'm telling you, recency bias is a thing, if the throws late, all the conversation for the week after is on his performance. It's a smart play.
