I really think Mayer brings huge value, but the board has lined up beautifully for a trade down, especially if Levis or Hooker come off early.

Trade back, or Mayer/Porter if they are there. Great value with those 2.

If Michael Mayer or Porter is there, run that card to the table. A lot of talent still on board, I think we will trade down.

I think Levis will mimic Carr in a way, tough fall but it will work out.

Here's hoping he and Hooker get picked in the top 7 today.

I definitely could see it happen. QBs get hyped up every year and then some inevitably fall. Regardless, in the Scenario, if we stay at 9 we are getting Levis or Richardson, neither ready to start tomorrow (I really don't care what twitter scout says he could play day 1, he can't read coverages yet) and we aren't going to suck enough to be in position to get a good one next year either. So to me, I love the move, and inwill be excited no matter what happens with the rest of the draft.

I think the blind homerism for everyone's guy will calm down once the draft is over. I certainly expect to see some folks angry at the pick and others overjoyed, but I would be all for anyone doing any kind of excessive gloating or insufferable whining to at least get hit with the time out hammer. It has been rough enough already. If we are lucky, we could all at least mostly unite under the, "well at least it's not Levis banner." Right?......... right....?
