I definitely could see it happen. QBs get hyped up every year and then some inevitably fall. Regardless, in the Scenario, if we stay at 9 we are getting Levis or Richardson, neither ready to start tomorrow (I really don't care what twitter scout says he could play day 1, he can't read coverages yet) and we aren't going to suck enough to be in position to get a good one next year either. So to me, I love the move, and inwill be excited no matter what happens with the rest of the draft.

I think the blind homerism for everyone's guy will calm down once the draft is over. I certainly expect to see some folks angry at the pick and others overjoyed, but I would be all for anyone doing any kind of excessive gloating or insufferable whining to at least get hit with the time out hammer. It has been rough enough already. If we are lucky, we could all at least mostly unite under the, "well at least it's not Levis banner." Right?......... right....?

@The Crown and the Claw has been steady with the Young narrative for a while now as well. His info has been as solid as can be so I would trust him over any reddit user.

The lost ticket sales that would happen with Andy Dalton and Will Levis as your Qbs would be astronomical lol.

Also he is similar to Cam in that he throws a ton of rockets no matter the range. He isn't much of a touch passer and that can hurt him in those 0-5 and 5-10 yard throws.

I mean he is Richardson is 10-12 percent worse than everyone on this list accuracy wise.

Good insight Rayzor. I know we have a litany if insiders that pop up every once in a while, so is this info coming from sources? I always got the impression from listening to Fiterrer that he loved Young and that Frank like CJ. But I think Frank is much more willing join the consensus since he is big on collaboration. Not meaning that he is a push over, but if he saw the two QBs close he would be the mover.

Bijan is the best prospect from a talent perspective, but he is the worst of the first round prospects from a value perspective.

I'm still in shock any professional scout or executive somehow can put Richardson in the same category of prospect that was Cam Newton. If Cam Newton right now today, where to come into the draft after the same season he had at Auburn he would be the surefire number one pick no questions asked. It would be in the same vain as Trevor Lawrence, there would be no debate, no one would have been able to trade up to 1 no matter the offer. Chicago would be skipping and prancing their way to hand the card and laughing all the way to the bank for the collection of picks they would get for Justin Fields. That is how much of a differe ce there is between Cam and Richardson as a prospect. Put some respect on the Rookie of the year, MVP, and most effective QB run threat in the history of the game.

All I heard is he knocked it out thr park. I would say 80th percentile is pretty darn good overall.

But this has nothing to do with IQ, it's more like processing under pressure, like you have 1 second to figure out which shape out of 20 is different, how fast can you identify it.
