What are the chances Burns gets traded before the trade deadline?
Jaxel replied to CamWhoaaCam's topic in Carolina Panthers
I have a good feeling he's not gonna get traded, and will ultimately get paid, even if it's next season. -
Week 7 Other NFL Games thread
Jaxel replied to Move the Panthers to Raleigh's topic in Carolina Panthers
To be fair it wasn't that great of a throw, but it should have been caught. -
Really need another guard. How is Bergeron playing in comparison to Mingo?

Thoughts on Justin Fields as a backup next season?
Jaxel replied to CamWhoaaCam's topic in Carolina Panthers
Personally if we want a young QB back up, I would spend a 5th or whatever on Spencer Rattler. -
I mean Bryce Young will not be traded, so no idea why he would even be listed. No one is giving up on a QB they just payed out the nose on after 5 games.

Shoot I mitht have just jinxed it.

Byrce's first win coming against Stroud will be epic.

Seriously, do y'all want a positive vibes only thread?
Jaxel replied to LinvilleGorge's topic in Carolina Panthers
Sending positive vibes that we some how get a fast receiver that can run routes. -
All I know is you had to have some strong hands and some super sticky modern gloves to catch the bullets Cam would throw. Man had an arm.

Let's just start with winning one game.

I think this whole thing is hilarious. Clearly there are two schools of thought on Bryce. Just ignore the ones you don't like, it's not that hard. I personally think that Bryce is improving every game and it won't be much longer before things start clicking. Linville thinks the opposite, but we have had plenty of friendly discourse with out it turning into extremes. Both sides need to grow some backbones and not let it destroy their days. -
Not many QBs are taking 7 deep shots a game. Hard to compare anyone to the best QB alive.
-
Agree, and to his point, Sam has connected on a good number of them.
-
The problem is, your eyes are lying to you about how many deep shots Sam Howell is actually taking. You see what you want to see. Also, his best receiver can actually run the routes. On average, Sam Howell goes deep an average for 1.7 times a game. That includes 2 games that he threw nearly 100 passes combined. https://nextgenstats.nfl.com/charts/player/sam-howell/HOW692969/2023 Charts for proof.

Here is your boy Sam Howell's week 6 passing chart. Not all that different.

Mr. Tepper’s dream came true…. He made the Pat McAfee Show….
Jaxel replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
I don't know that switching play callers on the same scheme with the same language and plays is that big of a deal. If everyone is fired and it's a whole new offense though, that would become a problem. -
Dang, Purdy with them carolina like weapons looks like a dumpster fire.
-
It's true that we suck, but did anyone expect to win that game with 3 healthy defensive starters in that game lol. This was actually much closer than I expected.

Some news to start the day. Tough luck for this kid, hope he recovers soon.

Sutton looks like a much better WR to me.
