  1. Who cares, Lamaleava will, Ewers will, 99% of other draftable qbs will. Besides, the chances we land the 1st pick again is statistically miniscual.
  2. Honestly, it's not that dier. A good QB hides a lot of issues. The Texans were looked at as having the worse roster ever, got Stroud, good again. The bears are stacked, but Caleb playing poorly. Suddenly they are lacking talent. All comes back to one player.
  3. I mean the truth is, the number 1 pick rarely gets traded. So I doubt it will happen for us. Might as well just take the best player or QB available.
  4. I dunno man, he is notorious for hanging on to the ball too long and taking sacks to save his completion percentage.
  5. If we are picking anywhere in the top 3 next year, he will not be.
  6. True, but a six year contract, Canales will attest get a year with his own guy. A blind man could see what the real problem holding this team back is.
  7. I think Canales will want his own guy, new regime typically means new QB. So I forsee one if we are anywhere in the top 5.
  8. I'm past this and pull for Stroud cause I like him. I've now set my eyes on 2025. We will have a new chance to get it right. Hopefully we do.
  9. Also, this last thing this team needs to is panic. Act like professionals, create a plan now, and follow it for 2025. You know Young isn't it, it's time to rebuilt from the bottom up. Don't screw up with needless trades and bad signing.
  10. This is the way, if you want 3 more years of losing.
  11. there is almost always that 1 fluke game.
  12. Probably already working behind the scenes with a New York team. lol
  13. Well, the Jets drafted a qb a number 3, and then 3 years later a Qb at 2. Maybe the closest I've seen.
  14. The truth is, the offense is set up quite well for a young QB now. The O-line is playing well, despite Young's play. The receivers are getting open, wide open, and we have a good running back stable. Take the QB, and continue to build around him in 2025. 2026 is all about defense.
  15. Name recognition is not there.
  16. Yes, he has struggled with injury, but none of them have been season ending, most have been unfortunate injuries. - First one a DT landed on his throwing shoulder - Second shoulder injury on his non throwing shoulder - out 2 games - Abdominal strain - tbd on how long he's out. So, I'm not super concerned about that just yet.
  17. Ewers plays big against big competition, has a great deep ball, can move, has great vision. I think he's this years Joe Burrow and I'd draft him with out a second thought. His only downside is he's struggled to stay healthy.
  18. I think Canales clearly understands the problem. Your likely to see Bryce 2 or 3 more games till the switch is made. It's not Canales, it's Tepper making this call.
  19. I don't think the team is even that bad. I think Bryce is that bad. Any movement of the ball would make an incredible difference, but we can't get 150 yards a game at this point.
  20. Have you ever watched a game where 6-0 in the 2nd qtr feels out of reach. That's how it feels watching this Panthers offense. Bryce Young is a disaster.
  21. Some of those calls were wild, that OPI being one of the most confusing I've seen.
  22. Update: ab strain for Ewers he will likely be back in a few weeks.
  23. Dang, saw Ewers got hurt. Arch throwing dimes though. If Ewers is out for the year, we can grab him in the second or third in 2025.
  24. I mean, if anything, Quinn Ewers performs his best in the biggest games against the toughest teams. Go look it up, it's where he shines. I think Ewers will end up being this year's Joe Burrow and if we have the number 1 pick, I'm taking him in a heartbeat.
