Person looks at Mayfield, Rhule and "revisionist history"
Jaxel replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
The winner if all of this (if there has to be one) is Sam Darnold, who gets 5 more games to showcase what he can do what many now consider a great offensive line. A lot of people wanted to see this, I don't necessarily think it affects the Panthers plans at QB in the draft, but at least it makes things somewhat interesting. -
NFL plus works fine on my phone too. I'm sorry you are having issues.
-
I wouldn't be mad with Max Duggan in the second.
-
I think the rankings will be Georgia, mich, TCU, Ohio St.

Mac is clutch as heck. Literally put that offense on his back.
-
His poise under pressure is impressive.

Duggan is an NFL QB, I don't care what anyone says.

QB Will Levis declaring for the NFL draft
Jaxel replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
To be fair, it was reported that Tepper badly wanted Justin Fields and we didn't take him. So while he may want someone,.he is letting his staff decide. -

It would astronomically hard to be worse than Zach Wilson. -
The good news is that, it doesn't matter how good he does, he will be cheap to bring back regardless.

Matt Rhule: “I wish I never took the job”
Jaxel replied to CashNewton22's topic in Carolina Panthers
Awful, no accountability at all. I'm genuinely miffed about that. -
I think the most encouraging thing about Rattler was that over his last 5 games he was 11 TDs to 3 interceptions with a near 70% completion. He definitely pulled it together in the last few games. I think he should definitely spend one more year in college and if he keeps up his development over the last 5 into all of next year he will be back in the first round mix.

To be fair to Wilson, Hackett may be the worst coaching hire of the last 5 years including Rhule. It doesn't matter who they put back there, that offense is an absolute disaster.
-
I would, but I unfortunately it's not going to be in the table.

Ellis Williams. Char observer on top 4 QBs Note, This is not in depth
Jaxel replied to Varking's topic in Carolina Panthers
I think if your top 5 there are lot of options, take your edge and you can always trade back in for a Levi's/Richardson or take a Penix/Duggan in the second. I think what Stroud really lacks is that leadership quality that you get no doubt from a Young/Levis/Penix/Duggan. -
Who should we be looking at outside the "top 4" QB candidates?
Jaxel replied to rayzor's topic in Carolina Panthers
Penix looks dang good. Duggan will also get picked on the 2nd or 3rd. -

I wonder if Luck regretted his decision, seeing as the Colts for him so injured he literally has to retire because of pain. -
Panthers to attend UK vs Florida game today.

Or kinda like Levis? You can make the case that both have Josh Allen like traits. The question is, which has a better chance to get to that level. -

Fields has really come on the last few weeks. I did read he had a separated shoulder, not a good sign for a player his age with his play style, hopefully he lasts a while. -

Levis is playing with inferior talent in the toughest conference in football. lance just played inferior talent with the best FCS team. -

The only QB I would trade for is Lamar, and that's only if we are out of range for the top three in this draft. If we can get Young, Stroud, or Levis/Richardson than by all means go that route. -

Thus the plausibility clause. -
I admit russ is a mystery, but Watson was a huge gamble from the start, and he hasn't even played yet, he could still be great.

Steichen and Lamar Jackson (if this is even plausible), who says no?
