  1. Sure, buts it's the rights to pick the first QB off the board and the only one you want. Even Houston media is talking about how expensive it will be to make that move. Carolina won't do it for just 33.
  2. I don't think they would do it for 33, I think it would cost 12 or a future first to move us off the pick.
  3. I think it's a bit offense heavy, I love the guard though. Protect that QB investment!
  4. I agree, I think it would at minimum take a future 1 however.
  5. Even Albert Breer now Either they are pushing ridiculously hard to get that next year 1 from Houston, or where there is smoke this is fire.
  6. I've seen a lot of local media suddenly going to Young in their mock drafts. Ellis, Carolina Blitz, Newton, Sheena. It's not a small contingent.
  7. I mean his receivers dropped like 4 sure huge gain passes in each of those games. Clearly you didn't watch either of them.
  8. I think the chance it's Richardson is less than 1%, so I'm not even considering it.
  9. Levis is so far out of consideration at this point that I don't even care. It's Young or Stroud, and not surprisingly, the news as we get closer to the draft is that it's likely Young.
  10. Because there is less to teach Bryce than there is to teach any other QB in this draft.
  11. Not worried about this at all, this is a very learnablr skill and we have the best coaches to teach it.
  12. Cowherd is just making an educated guess based on his feeling of it. Just like everyone else.
  13. I like AR, but the physical tools are carrying him right now. He has 1.3 years of average QB tape to look at and it just does not line up with a top pick. Everyone wants to compare him with Newton, but the stats and eye test are not even in the same ball park. To me, he is just to risky for a number 1 overall pick.
  14. This whole "we moved up right after the combine so it must be Stroud or Richardson" makes me laugh. When, otherwise, we're we supposed to move up? It was reported a billion times that the ideal time to move up was before free agency started to have flexibility, it has nothing to do with who dominated the combine.
  15. I think the reality of this is slowly starting to hit. Carolina is all in on Young and are giving Stroud all the opportunities to change it. I think they will stick to their guns though.
  16. Mike Lombardi agrees with Chris Mortensen. Clearly Carolina is dominating the smokescreen game. For me, I think things are trending towards Young, and I think it's been that the whole time, I'll eat my crow if I'm wrong on draft night.
  17. Personally, I think it's Young - I think it was always Young. Stroud they are doing as much homework as they can to see if he can pass Young - but ultimately it will be Young. Either case I'll be thrilled. I'll say this, I give it a less than 1% chance that it's Richardson.
  18. This Lance Zierlein mock has Texans fans in shambles. https://www.nfl.com/news/lance-zierlein-2023-nfl-mock-draft-3-0-ravens-select-c-j-stroud-after-trade-patr Feels like the narrative is shifting to Bryce. Where there is smoke there is fire.
  19. Part of this is that Allen wrapped up his deal last year and got a huge pay day. If Lamar had an agent and had gotten a deal last year, he'd likely be at similar numbers.
