Point is, I think Frank is easier to convince to turn to Bryce than Fit is to turn to Stroud or Richardson. Fiterrer has been talking about Bryce even before draft season.

I mean its reported that several front office folks love Young. Tepper is just the big name that brings attention. I can guarantee you Fiterrer is in the Young camp as well. Just read his quotes and watch his interviews and you can connect the dots.

I don't understand it - if they Panthers trade back so the Texans take Bryce, then suddenly at 2 Richardson is the favorite? So we don't really care about Stroud at all, even though he is in contention for the number 1 pick? Guys, it's going to be Young. He is and always was the best in the draft. All the language has pointed to it, all the signs. The media just ran with the height thing, and that's started to fall apart.

I think Fiterrer goes with his guy in this case.

He put context to that, saying if football wise it was split 50-50, it would be more from a business perception than anything. So that is really a last resort option.

I mean thr weight that Tepper has on this decision is only media speculation. I doubt he is in there demanding his prospect, but obviously his interactions or thoughts could have an impact. That's every owner. If we were talking about maybe some prospect that's a 2nd round talent this would be a problem, but it's well known that a lot of the building like Young and he is the consensus number one guy, so I don't think there is that big of an issue here.

I'm very much pulling for you and your sources here. I remember you got the rug pulled under you last time when SF swapped to Lance. I hope the Panther do not do the same. Stick with your guns imo.

I don't think the choice should be hard when you have a clear "most talented and best QB in the class".

Schefter on his Podcast with Matt Miller and Jorden Reid are pretty bullish that Bryce is the pick. Obviously things can change, but in general - people get the 1st pick right 99% of the time.
