  1. Somewhere, Lamar Jackson is like "man, wtf?".
  2. Man, great leader. Worked his way from after thought to top NFL qb.
  3. I think they have a very strong idea of who their guy is at this point and it would take something astronomical to change their mind.
  4. Maybe when it was Matt Rhule, but with this staff there is no chance lol.
  5. I 100% agree, it's disturbing and wrong to do that to the kid. That is the media though, and they always pick someone to slander. Heck look at Levis, he is pinned as enemy number 1 because he did a tick tock for laughs about drinking mayo in his coffee and the banana thing. My point was though, I haven't seen many Panthers fans saying those things about Stroud, at least no on this forum.
  6. I haven't seen anyone call Stroud stupid. And if they do, they have no idea what the S2. It has nothing to do with intelligence. Regardless, I think Stroud is fantastic and will be a good player.
  7. As I said in the the other thread, Houston media is convinced it would cost a fortune and its unlikely
  8. They came into college the same year in the same recruiting class.
  9. They've both been in college the same amount of time, one just figured it out faster and is currently an entire universe better.
  10. I think the Panthers care more about getting the right Face of the Franchise, more than the extra corner or wr that they could possibly (if they are still around) trade up for.
  11. That's why I think a trade is unlikely. I think the Panthers and Texans view Young as QB1. The Panthers are happy to take him, but if the Texans want him bad enough to give up that 1 next year then it creates a conversation.
  12. This true, I think it's more likely to happen on draft day if at all. For the record, Albert Breer thinks a trade is highly unlikely, and he is not what I would call a bad or whimsical insider.
  13. This is true, but it comes down to what the Panthers value. Do they they want to recoup the 1st they lost next year or pick at 33. They already pick at 39, I think it's more likely that want their future capital back.
  14. I live in the DFW so we get a lot of access to Houston media, even they are talking about how Carolina won't move if for anything less than next years 1.
  15. Obviously he is not, but if he is the Panthers and the Texans far away number 1 for this year, you gotta pay for the luxury to make that decision.
  16. Houston would have to win the superbowl to make it a worse pick than 33. I think the Panthers want a number 1 receiver next year, and thar doesn't exist this year.
  17. And to that point, I believe it will take more than what Houston will want to give to tradeback, starting with next year's first. I don't think they do it for 33.
  18. It's pretty well documented that they view him as future GM material.
  19. Agree, I think the south will be more competitive then people expect.
  20. I think it comes down to how well thier QB plays. If he turns out to be decent they will be competitive, if not, they might fins themselves in Panthers 7-9 just outside QB range territory.
  21. To be fair, you should listen to Billy Marshall's interview with the S2 co-owner. Gives a lot of great context to the exam.
