  1. Because he beat the heck out of michigan.
  2. Ya'll are gonna slam me, but with Canales rehabiliting Mayfield and Geno, the massive success the Sam Darnold is seeing right now, I would see if I could pull Zach Wilson in the off-season and see what Canales can do with him. He has talent, seems to have matured significantly, and has shown flashes. He could be one of those late bloomers like Geno and Darnold. Would be cheap, and wouldn't preclude anyone from drafting a late round QB. Bonus, he could lead you to a top QB in 2026 if things don't work out. Okay, I'll take my beating now.
  3. I mean, he was the favorite to win the Hiesman Trophy before he got injured. I don't think his position as the QB1 is as in danger as everyone is making it out to be. Yes, it's a Manning, but it's not like Quinn Ewers wasn't tearing it up before he got injured.
  4. Pretty much already stated that he is expected to start against Oklahoma next week.
  5. I think he is still too raw to go one, if he where like Josh Allen size I could see it. There is some recency bias there, but once it's all said and done he will probably be mid first round early second, imo. Think right now the top the is a mix of Sanders, Ewers, and Ward, then there is a second tier than includes Milroe, obviously this could change.
  6. If we got this route, Milroe, Nussimeier, or Allar in the second round could be good developmental guys. I like Milroe's leadership qualities and he bring a run element.
  7. Well, if anything was a winnable game, it's the next one. The Bears defense is tough, but their offense, particularly Williams can be shut down. Just got to get some pressure on him.
  8. What a game, came away impressed with both QBs resiliency.
  9. Well, he's looking pretty damn good right now.
  10. I like Ewers or Sanders myself. I don't mind Ward either, I've heard he has a strong arm, but I've watched him and it just doesn't look like it to me from an eye test. Like the velocity on his throws just don't seem to be there. Would be fine with either, provided they all sit behind a vet for the 1st 12 to 16 games of their careers.
  11. One of them is way cheaper for those same results lol.
  12. Take solace in the fact that, had we had the number 1 pick, we probably would have picked Caleb Williams too. The good news is, we get to watch the Bears lament everything like we did, and that makes it sting a little less.
  13. I would sign a vet, whether that's Andy or some one else to a 2 year deal. Draft either Ewers or Sheduer, and let them sit behind th a t vet for roughly 8 to 12 games, then throw em in there.
  14. If you do thar, swing for the physical freak. Maybe like that Penn St kid if he comes out.
  15. To be fair, they missed a 39 yard field goal.
  16. Manning ain't stealing the job. If Quinn Ewers were like mid round prospect, but seeing was the favorite to win the heisman and looks completely in control of that team, I don't see it happening.
  17. They say this every year about some team and it never happens. Remember, Caleb williams was refusing the bears last year and guess what, he is with the bears.
  18. Tepper literally just got a quarter billion dollars to renevate his stadium. This team is going no where.
  19. Honestly I'd go after Wilson, yeah he's got big bust energy too, but he played well the entire off season. Maybe he is who Canales can turn around. At least he has the measurables.
  20. Obviously by my profile pick, I'm big on Ewers. I think he's the best of the bunch. I'd be ecstatic if we drafted him. With that, I'd still sit him atleast half a season.
  21. The win would if Dalton can be good enough to win us 3 to 4 games, and still be low enough to get the first pick. We just need to look competitive.
