We draft a QB. but we won't trade up for either of the two favorites. It's be someone like Richardson and in later round ( 4th or 5th round ) Hendon Hooker from Tennessee or Bo Nixon from Oregon . We draft a linebacker or wide receiver with our first pick. The Huddle has more fans swear they hate the team and are through with the Panthers.. only to be found out, they are fibbers and don't leave the Huddle and come here daily proclaiming doom and gloom for this franchise. New Huddle rules will be implemented where Huddle members are only allowed 2 negative post per day.. Others claim to start ( falsely ) a new message board called WHY WE HATE THE CAROLINA PANTHERS .. Continued negative post about Rhule will be tolerated .

If you can tell us , guaranteed, not guessing, who we will not get to pick now, that we could pick if we had lost, and that player is guaranteed to be the GOAT , HOF , I might agree with all you who wished we lost. But you can’t. There are bust all along the way at every draft position. For all you who are saying the Saints were tanking,, show me the player who intentionally let us get to the QB ,, he laid down .. or their defensive backs that were letting our WR run free ,, etc etc .. The “ fans “ here that claim they know the future ( best draft picks ) stop wasting your time here , the MEGA millions is really up there,, go use your prediction talent to pick the correct numbers

When can interviewing for a new head coach start ? I know all teams must follow the Rooney Rule . But can we,, say ,,,, interview Harbaugh today while the games going on ? And 3 others that qualify as Rooney Rule candidates today as well ? ( college, high school , nfl , etc )

Exactly. And with a young , possibly , probably , a Franchise QB . Lawrence reminds me of Payton Manning. No he's not there yet. I think with the coaching change from last season we can see Trevor's growth as a QB. Payton went 3-13 his rookie year. I wish there was a Franchise QB coming out this draft and we could figure out who it will be. The first QB taken in a draft isn't always a franchise QB .. We need to get lucky

You do realize he was 20 yards away from the QB when he fumbled it .. Yes, right place , right time. But to imply his defensive positioning was planned is a bit a stretch . He didn’t know the QB would fumble .. an interception, I’d give him all the credit.. it wasn’t though

I don't think we've ever had an offensive minded coach. George Siefert probably was, but when he came here our team was pretty much a wreck. I'm not defending him at all,, he was worse than Rhule probably, but he didn't keep pee'ing on our leg and tell us it was raining like Rhule. Siefert had Rice, Montana , Steve Young etc. When he got here he was left with Jeff Lewis at QB . Wesley Walls flourished under Siefert , he drafted Steve Smith , Dan Morgan, Kris Jenkins but never coached them. We've seen some defensive minded coaches have some superior teams and win super bowls. Who are the great offensive minded coaches that won super bowls ? That's not a smart @ass question, I'm curious as what others think . "Greatest Show on Turf" , or Air Coryell " vs the Bear down Bears ( Monsters of the Midway) or Ravens., or the Steel Curtain , or The Doomsday Defense., or The Orange Crush, The Purple People Eaters .. The No Name Defense ( the only undefeated team ) Yes, you have to have both. Yes after the last 3 years I want to see some offense. But you better be able to play defense first.

Agreed that McDaniel's has Tua playing at a higher level,, but throwing to Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle has helped immensely. And I'd love to have Mike McDaniel's here.. and his assistant coaches.. and his Wide Receivers ..

Sad , but true. Except in their own minds.. they will never be recognized as USC , or Carolina. They live in their own little world and hope all the people from Ohio will leave Myrtle Beach . They may hate Ohio State , since there is only one Ohio State, we don't have to put the "the" in front of it ,, they may hate Ohio St more than Michigan because of the numbers that travel to visit them.

This my thought. Roger Goodell does what the owners want. Fire him and the next commissioner works for the same owners. In baseball, yes , I know, different sport.. but once the game starts, it's up to the umpires as to whether a game is called , not the commissioner. I have no idea if the NFL works like that. It will be interesting , to see how the NFL spins the scenarios that took place, or all the second hand stories saying the refs told them to get ready to play in 5 min.

Agreed. Darnold played better with the lead. Playing from behind he just looks nervous. On another thought , our OC play calling suffered after the 1st Qtr. Our receivers can’t seem to find the open spots in zones like opponents.

LOL,, fans minds, change by the hour lol. I was reading the in game post on here yesterday,, and I was SHOCKED ,, after the first drive , we scored,, at the number of fans posting , Give Darnald and extension, lock Wilks up now. And I mean LOTS OF comments. You can go back and read them . Just like the GET RID OF WILKS group were no where commenting after that first TD .. Then we were up 14-0 .. and WOW, I just knew the hire Wilks group were putting a Go Fund Me page on facebook to raise money to help Tepper hire him ..

Before the season started , we thought our defensive backfield was good. Donte Jackson, Jaycee Horn, CJ Henderson, Xavier Woods, Jeremy Chinn. Would he have been a better defensive coach if they could actually all play on the field at the same time ? Chinn and Jackson with large amount of missed games. A healthy Horn yesterday might have made him look like a better defensive coach. What many thought was our strength on defense , actually was worse than the linebackers and D line. I'm not advocating for him to be hired as the HC , but I wonder what he'd be like when he can hire his own coaches, keep or cut his own players, Lots of coaches have been fired because their team was crippled with injuries . It's part of the game.

Hate on them all we want, but those two have 7 years of getting us to the playoffs and 2 Super Bowl appearances . After the last 5 years, I'm signing up for a coach that can get us to the playoffs, Then hopefully along the way we eventually find a true franchise QB. We have to have one. But please stop thinking that because we want one, that he's in next years draft.

As I'm older than many here, Franco's rookie year ( 1972 , the year of his Immaculate Reception ) was the start of the Steeler Dynasty. There was Franco's Army , Gerela's Gorillas, etc. Pittsburg was a perennial loser. The year before they were 6-8 . Because America roots for underdogs, many jumped on the Steeler bandwagon. And why not, they were new and fun to watch. I was working in a regional department store, and there was a small 10" TV for sale in the mens department and many of was were standing there in amazement at the end of that game. There was no ESPN etc.. So to see the reply took days LOL. May he rest in Peace

POOF it was gone.. So We'll be Detroit and some of us will be hoping or MAGIC ,, then beat Tampa ,, then,, Pooof we'll lose to the 'aints lol. The Tepper comment.. we'd better get use to this. He's the owner and we can't fire him. Hopefully he's a better and faster learner than some of the past owners in this league ( Jerry Jones good owner, bad GM etc ) . You rarely get groomed to be an owner.. ( Steelers groomed Rooney's etc ) . He's still on his rookie contract, and we hope it all clicks when hiring our next coach. One thing that makes owner look wonderful is having a true Franchise Quarterback. which brings WINS and SUPER BOWLS . I think how long Buffalo has waited between Jim Kelly and 4 Super Bowl Appearances and Josh Allen,, or the Patriots since Brady left. That's what makes a great owner . Merry Christmas Panthers
