Duke returns 18 starters from a 9-4 team. They , once again will be better than most give them credit for. Clempson may be great again, and Duke just better than most think. Clempson has not run over them on offense or defense. A lot of football left for Clempson to shine ( or Duke )

UNC’s defense ( 1st half ) is better than last years . SC is isn’t an awful team.

I’ve lived in Wilmington for 70 years and if I never see another hurricane it’s a blessing. As other of my coastal neighbors have mentioned, it’s nerve racking. Why do so many come when it’s dark ? ( actually it’s because they are so f’ing huge , it can take over 12 hours from the start till it’s gone. ) Like others have mentioned, I can hear the ocean from my house in the mornings ( not later due to traffic on S College Rd lol ) When you finally get power back on,, your whole world changes.. all of a sudden you have your life ( hot shower lol ) back. It is sooooo good that you can almost forget about others who still are without. Many hurricanes that have hit Wilmington, were much stronger when out at sea than when they actually hit us. Once one crosses the Gulf Stream they loose intensity. Go from Cat 3 to maybe a 2or 1. I am not stupid. I will leave town with a Cat 4 . But the thing is,, when you finally realize it’s going to not weaken, it’s already been on top of you for 2-4 hours. picture worth 1000 words,, when you finally see the power truck on your street

Usually we get s cooler day or two every now and then. I’m not so sure about that. I can’t locate every preseason game in our history.. but none I found , had a more Lackluster offense , and keep a preseason defense on the field so long.. lost by 27. Yeah, we looked pretty bad.. Thanks goodness it’s preseason.

We ran a screen pass to Chubba when were pinned back at the 2 yard line .. maybe a 4-5 yard pick up , if that. I think Bryce was still at QB . He didn’t throw many passes so it should be an easy search lol.

My concern with the coaches comments after the first game was all the vanilla talk.. No team comes out with their play book open in the preseason. We were SHUTOUT and BLOWN OUT .. Maybe we play "vanilla " football better than any other team in the NFL based on our week one results. Our place kicker is injured , so we sign another and he get to kick off at the beginning of the game and that's it. We can't even get into field goal range to see if we can snap the ball and get a kick off with this guy. So how did that evaluation go ?? Steve Spurrier, after running up the score on some team.. use to say,, " if you don't like getting beat that bad,, get better " Lets hope we learned a lot from the Jets game.

We won the pre-season ... draft , coaches, etc.. We looked good getting off the bus.. It's time we put on our big boy pants and actually become a good football team ... no more reading the media drooling about our draft , free agents, coaching staff.. It's time for the leaders on the team to be leaders.

With what we saw ,, what the coaches saw Saturday ,, Bryce Young's snap count probably will be cut in half . Can't afford for him to be hurt in preseason. We all realize our # 1 running back was not playing, as well as low snap counts for many starters. Matt Corral will be given much more time to try to impress coaches because of the O Line. And he did not look good at all.
