  1. Sorry, missed the joke. Agree bad timing. It was a hell of a defensive effort though.
  2. Man, lay off the Chuba hate. Dudes been busting it all year and dip-sh!ts just want to sling crap wherever. Ref’s maybe….. Most inopportune time for a fumble, but we should have never have even made it to OT.
  3. N. GA…..huh. Got all Red Bulled up and couldn’t find his banjo. Had to post instead.
  4. He was rated 15th out of the starting 64 tackles going into last season….. Moton is not been the issue with our line.
  5. Relax, JJ skews the average.
  6. Maybe it’s because I’m in a bad mood with a screaming headache, but something about the comment just rubbed me the wrong way. Yea, maybe these guys aren’t the best and may not make an NFL roster, but damn, pretty much all of them were college standouts and I’m sure they’re all basically elite athletes. Far from bums…….
  7. Well, on the other hand, 2 of our “castoffs” are currently starters for other teams…..
  8. I was going to say Chinn. Should have been DROY.
  9. Yes, I can agree about the center position. I would also expect that you could agree that Dan did take some bold steps in bolstering the line. I’m not one for much critical thinking, football wise, but I could see where the thought of having solid guard play could help make the center position a bit less challenging. I read someone stating our guard acquisition was a bust because he didn’t play or wasn’t at practice. I did read that it was a personal issue and not injury related. I understand they’ve not, in any ways, earned the benefit of the doubt. But sometimes the negativity can be overwhelming (and I’m not calling anybody out specifically, just in general). Again, there’s not been much to cheer for, hell, the one offensive play used in the highlights the other night was the overturned fumble in the red zone. But not everything has been completely negative…..
  10. Uh, he did go out and get two of the best guards in the league…..
  11. It’s telling that he’s helped develop both quarterbacks and tight ends. The timing with Hurst’s release, and he’s already familiar with Tremble from his time with ND. Having a dependable tight end would really benefit Bryce.
  12. I really don’t care either way, and I usually keep my thoughts to myself, but if the Canales threads were locked for not being “football related” (and they were in bad taste), isn’t this one pretty much the same? Yes, Tepper has made his mistakes, lots of them, and I’m in no way an apologist, but this is as much or more non-football related as those other threads. Its easy to pile on the owner, but the closed threads were pretty specific in their reasons…..
  13. I don’t get the whole “went need Bellichick” narrative. Post Brady, the Patriots have been 27-34, .443 winning percentage. Throughout his time as coach/personnel manager, he’s made some really head scratching moves. As an additional note, his head coaching stats prior to TB are almost identical, 44-55, 0.458 winning percentage. if BB comes here, everyone better hope he brings along a TB12 type qb. He’s not got a track record of drafting or developing one either…..
