  1. Him coming back and playing at a high level with all that pressure will tell us a lot about him, and I think he will.
  2. Love that Trevin Wallace will keep the green dot and communicate the play calls. I’m really high on his potential. This from Joe P is really funny: ”Say what? When Thompson and Josey Jewell (groin and hamstring) both left the Bengals’ game with injuries, it left rookie Trevin Wallace as the linebacker responsible for getting the scheme call from the sideline (via a helmet transmitter) and communicating it to the defense. That process was slowed a bit by Wallace’s south Georgia accent. Well, not just the accent. Woods said there were other contributing factors that made understanding Wallace difficult. “We gave him hell about that. Because not only does he have an accent — like me, I have a little bit of a lisp, I’m from the South and I used to wear Invisalign,” said Woods, a Louisiana native. “Trevin has an accent, and he wears Invisalign and he was tired and he was breathing hard. So that was tough. “But we talked about it, we joked about it. We were just like, ‘Trevin, you’ve gotta slow down a little bit.’ We didn’t miss any calls, but it was different.” Wallace will have time to work on getting the calls out more cleanly: With Jewell expected to miss at least this week, Woods said the third-round pick from Kentucky will continue to wear the “green dot” on his helmet.”
  3. I’d love to sign him if we can, he puts a lot of stress on the opposing D. Also his skill set is very different from our other receivers. He drops a few too many passes, but I see him as a # 1 or 2 WR.
  4. This is the ideal scenario. A pass rusher in the first and then a developmental QB in the second. Hopefully Rams continue to struggle and we get a very high pick in the second round.
  5. I never liked Prime, to me he’s a total narcissist that only cares about himself. I have no problem admitting to that. But what about the son? Seems like a legit player, but is he the same way or is he different from his dad? Can he lead a team of grown men in the NFL? Honest question here as I’m curious to see what people think.
  6. A stud edge rusher would completely change our defense, even if everything else stays the same. There looks to be a few in the draft, so that is promising
  7. Hate it for Shaq. Great guy, great leader, and he’s also played really well this year. Would love to see Trevin Wallace take over for the rest of the season, I think he has a lot of upside
  8. I’m still leaning towards someone like Allar, i.e. someone young with all the tools but in need of seasoning, and letting him sit for at least one year.
  9. I agree, I was really impressed by this (and so were the commentators, they mentioned it more than once.). He looked like he belongs. I wasn’t high on him, but I’m coming around
  10. I agree, we were right there, and that’s all I’m asking for this year. We’re playing hard, Canales looks like a keeper, Dalton might be a 2-3 year solution. Though they had some drops, Legette and Mingo blocks all out. We know the defense would take a step back this year. But every game will be watchable and that’s not bad for this year.
  11. True, but since we can’t change history it is also ok to move on and say that with the options on the table this year I’m glad we finally traded him.
  12. I wouldn’t say obsessed, but nice to validate that Dan did the right thing trading him instead of signing him for $30M a year.
  13. Good to see Burns out there for $30M a year making absolutely no impact lol
  14. Very happy with Dan so far, will it all pan out? Who knows? But I like essentially all his moves so far
  15. I expected early success from him and Nix due to their experience, so I’m not super surprised. I was more concerned about their upside if that makes sense.
  16. I did have Maye as my #1 and still do. Wasn’t sure about Caleb as his playstyle was mostly improvising out of pocket. Hadn’t seen Daniels much, but was sceptical how much upside he had after five years as a starter. But that was a great game from him.
  17. Sanders made some mistakes, but he’s getting after it with his blocking. Very promising imo
  18. Yeah everyone seemed super disappointed when he gave Canales a game ball and then quickly removed himself. This is sarcasm btw, Tepper ruined nothing and all players cheered when Canales got the game ball.
  19. This is the point where they’ll get the most they’ll ever can for him. There are still egos out there that think they can fix him.
  20. The money is ok for me. What bothers me is his dad putting his son first and the team second. That is not ok for all the other players on the team. But that is also not surprising considering who his dad is.
  21. The most important thing to me is to have a true bridge QB and don’t start a rookie. Pats are doing it the right way this year. Packers have done it that way for years etc. That also allows you to draft a high upside QB and develop him. And it would work really well with Candles as a HC. Allen from Penn State would definitely fit the bill for this.
  22. I wouldn’t be surprised if someone gave us a 5th rounder. That seems to be the going rate for one last chance reclamation projects.
  23. I have hope for Dan, I really liked what he did if FA and the draft this year
