Not a runner, but doesn’t sound at all like a statue: ”Strong’s arm is his most valuable physical tool, but the Nevada QB isn’t a liability as an athlete. Strong is more of a pocket passer, but he has some underrated mobility within his archetype. He has some definite short-range spryness and escapability in the pocket, and he also flashes limited off-script ability. He can cover ground with long strides and extend plays to the sideline if necessary.” “Strong is an average athlete with regard to mobility outside of the pocket. In the run game, he isn't much of a threat to the defense as a runner. Therefore, running many of the zone-read concepts with him would be problematic. The passing game is where he thrives. He’s more of a traditional pocket passer with very good arm strength and throws with a good base. He has the mental processing to make quick decisions. Nevada’s offense provides many opportunities for him to display his downfield accuracy. He has a good internal timer and he innately feels pressure on the backside. He has a quick release and easily gets the ball out of his hands from the gun to short throws. He goes through his progressions and will check it down when necessary. One of his best assets is his ability to take care of the football. Some of his turnovers in the exposures I’ve graded were situations where his receivers let him down. ”

Trent Williams is 33, Andrew Whiteorth is 39, etc. You can get a great LT in his early 30s. But if you are only looking for All Pro LTs in their mid 20s, then yes, you won’t find that

I also think MJ has some promise at LG, a stud LT in FA could help elevate his play. Then you can attack C and RG in FA/draft. Might be wishful thinking in my part, but I like that direction.

You can’t if you get mediocre players. But if you sign someone like Armstead at tackle and a very good guard it will certainly help. If you prioritize and am willing to spend you can make a lot of progress.

I agree. However I feel we need a much more experienced OC. Keeping Brady would be a huge disappointment. Hopefully he takes a college job and it takes care of itself.

Draft a QB and sign an experienced QB (Nick Foles?) to compete and mentor. Sign O-line in free agency and draft in later rounds. Get a new experienced OC.

Do you think their red flags were different from Zach Wilson, Trey Lance, Justin Fields and Mac Jones? I don’t see much of a difference to be honest. But I don’t watch much college ball so you might have seen more of them play than me. Three of them have multiple years of strong performance (Howell, Stong, Corall). Last year were a lot of one year wonders.

Oh I agree with some of your points, however the excessive use of hyperbole on this site (not just you, from a lot of people) just takes away from your main points. We are completely lost offensively. I’m very impressed with our D and the coaching on that side. Special Teams seem to have come around as well. The comments about Tepper not caring that are rampant around here are also ridiculous. One minute he’s Dan Snyder, the next he is not involved enough. Not sure how you can say he doesn’t care. Based on what? Some bad decisions?

The O-line hasn’t been good, but the fact that the opposing defense has nothing to fear from Darnold makes their job impossible

Bill usually does a great job going after and limiting the strengths of each QB. But since PJ has no strengths at the QB position, what gives?

Strong has a potential knee issue from what I’ve read, but not sure. Haven’t seen him play, but read great things about him. Not a one year wonder either:
