  1. I liked Fitterers comment about “you can recoup a 3rd rounder, but not a one or two”. Good insight into how he measured the investment.
  2. Agreed, based on the day 1 WR trades, I could see Robby to a WR starved team. Not expecting it, but I wouldn’t be shocked
  3. Brinson put out his final mock this morning and it is perfection for us. Trading back with the Jets to get our 2nd rounder back and we still get Neal at pick 10. Would blow my mind. Jets is an interesting trade back partner that I hadn’t thought about as much before. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/news/2022-nfl-mock-draft-3-0-jets-trade-up-to-select-first-wide-receiver-derek-stingley-jr-soars-up-draft-board/
  4. It does work if people are secure enough in themselves and can put their ego side
  5. I apologize for getting back in topic here but there was a update in a nfl.com video and apparently there was one team that had some follow up questions about Neal, but no other teams. So what was said by Walter was not wrong but slightly exaggerated. Seems to be a none issue though.
  6. Agree with this. It is the same as all other testing. A bad or good score will make you go back to make sure you didn’t miss anything in your evaluation. It is not a definite one way or the other. If I saw this score from Pickett I would really make sure he is football smart. Or does he need five years to learn a new system? It would be stupid to just dismiss this, but one should instead verify to make sure it isn’t an issue.
  7. I was laughing so hard at this, well done!
  8. I personally find Kiper very entertaining. He works extremely hard, seems like a good guy, has a lot of passion etc. Is he wrong a lot? Yes for sure, but so is every other “expert”.
  9. I disagree on Trask but I give you props for your enthusiasm and pleasant tone!
  10. I can see being intrigued by Strong for sure, I just found the Trask thing really funny.
  11. The funniest thing about all this is that you think saying you were super high on Trask last year somehow makes your support of Strong more valid when it does the opposite.
  12. Are you saying that the man who said Lamar Jackson should move to WR is not a fan of a super athletic QB who ran a lot in college. I’m shocked
  13. If we don’t use it will roll over to next year, so not a big deal. Gives us flexibility this year if something comes up. But it won’t disappear if we don’t use it.
  14. Dream: Neal/Ekwonu fall to us and we select one of them at #6. Nightmare: Draft Picket at #6
  15. That’s what makes Willis so intriguing, the intangibles and his physical skill set is there. But will it all come together or not? The upside is there and he will give it his all. Very risky, but also a very high upside it it clicks for him. Still want a LT, but if we go QB, I’d rather gamble on his upside.
  16. Now I feel much better about drafting Willis. If Lombardi says not too, I’m all in
  17. Then I might have to refill the glass with something stronger, but it would for sure be more than half full
  18. If we draft Willis I will be excited and overly optimistic about his potential and high ceiling. If we draft a LT I will be pumped we did the smart thing and now have a potentially really strong o-line and can go all in on drafting a QB next year. Always glass half full!
  19. You do you and go all in. He can make all the throws for sure, he’s just too immobile and (from what I read) a sitting duck in the pocket. But we’ll see. You kind of remind me of the old joke about the man driving the wrong direction on the highway, then hears a reporter on the radio saying “warning, a man is driving the wrong direction”, and he responds “one? there are hundreds of people going the wrong way”.
  20. This is the right question. Do we have any actual intel that he prefer Pickett over Willis?
  21. If I was the owner I would also like a great starting QB, like every other owner in the league. Doesn’t mean he will dictate the draft.
  22. The ideal scenario is that we draft a LT, Sam starts and fails, Rhule gets fired and we draft a QB next year and set ourselves up for long term success.
