  1. He looked terrible until Rhule left, like many other players. I was in the camp off essentially cutting him under Rhule, but now he looks awesome.
  2. The question I have is: Who would have done better than Wilks after taking over as interim coach at the same point in the season?
  3. He’s kind of on his own right now. This is a weird take, but being on his own kind of suits him, he’s awesome at improvising when a play breaks down, just like he was in college. I’m curious to see how he does in a proper system surrounded by more talent. Will he adapt and play in the system or will it always be hero ball for him?
  4. Could JSN be the slot receiver we are looking for? Apparently he ran a 4.64 coming out of HS and is rated as a 3rd rounder by some teams (according to Brugler). What’s everyone’s take on him? I don’t watch much outside of my heels so I really haven’t seen him play, and I know he’s been injured this year. Sounds like his strength is to get open, so he could be a perfect slot guy.
  5. I get the reasoning 100%. It’s the “haha, we lost, in your face” that baffles me.
  6. I can see both sides. I like to win any game we can, but I also see how that might not be good long term. What I wouldn’t to have Herbert at QB… But it is really weird when a supporter of a team takes a loss and rubs it in the face of another supporter of the same team.
  7. I read that he’s dealing with an injury, that’s why he wasn’t on the hands team in the end.
  8. No doubt Rhule and the Temple coaches were terrible. But they are mostly gone and we have a great O-line coach, a very good special teams coach, good to very good defense staff. If we can get a great OC we should be in really good shape. If Wilks stay I hope we can get Frank Reich or Jim Caldwell as OC, it would completely change our offense. If we go for a new HC, we need someone with an offensive background. But I don’t see the need for starting with a clean slate coaching wise.
  9. Good for him, he was a great teammate while here.
  10. Why would he be an update? I’m not that impressed by him tbh
  11. He drafted a head case in the first round in 2020, Isiah Wilson. He drafted an injured CB in the first round in 2021, he let AJ Brown go etc. So there was plenty to choose from tbh.
  12. That will be a great game to watch Stroud!
  13. This is always an interesting one. The thin resume guys haven’t had as much of a chance to show what they can’t do, so it is close to 100% upside. The more experienced guys have showed more of their limitations. So the limited ones have more of a “what if?”. But it is such a guess work on how any of them will truly develop.
  14. I’d like to see Siaki Ika next to Brown, that would be an absolute wall.
  15. I’ve been thinking of a potential 3-4 with Brown on one side and Burns and Luvu as the outside LBs. This draft would set that up extremely nicely. Still managed to get a high potential QB and a TE that reminds me a bit about Mark Andrew’s.
  16. I wouldn’t be surprised to see Stroud experiencing the same type of “fall” Fields did and be available in the 10-15 range. Could be great value at that spot.
  17. To add to this, many of the biggest busts relied only on their athletic abilities and weren’t working on the other aspects of the game. Work habits and ability to process on top of athletic ability gives you high upside. Might still bust, but at least they will give you their best. Richardson is said to do all the right things, being a good leader, working hard etc. Right now he’s very inexperienced, so we don’t know what he can’t do, hence who knows how he will turn out? But he doesn’t sound like a Ryan Leaf/Jamarcus Russel type at all.
  18. I appreciate it. If we get Steichen, it might be a really good situation for him. I really like what he’s done with Hurts.
  19. I’m know you are a Florida guy, how is Richardson doing? I’m reading in places that is is making a lot of progress. I trust your take on him.
  20. I didn’t catch the whole game, but from what I saw the defense outside of Henderson was very, very good. Looked like Burns held up very well against the run and I didn’t see any mistakes on his past. If I remember correctly he bullrushed the LT a few times. He’s no Lawrence Taylor for sure, and he never will be, but I thought he had a good game.
  21. What didn’t you like about his game this week?
  22. I don’t think the intention of the OP or myself was to scare you with data and numbers. I hope you can overcome this misstep from our side and that you can have a good night sleep without any nightmares.
