  1. I like building the trenches and feel we can get very good receiver help in round 3-4, so here are my first four picks:
  2. If he was available day 3, he would be a good pick. He has all the tools needed to succeed if he can put it all together. And that’s the ideal recipe for a day 3 QB. Low risk, high reward.
  3. I saw him play once or twice and he looked impressive. But what we really need is someone who can get separation and get open, and I didn’t see that, so he doesn’t feel like a fit in the second round for us as we need impact starters. But he’s exciting once he has the ball no doubt.
  4. The Jets GM is at a Fitterer level, hard to see any plan or pattern in what he’s doing.
  5. The depth of this WR class will push some great players down to us. We could potentially wait and take a WR in round 3. We need to go BPA.
  6. I’m on the Sweat bandwagon as well, would be a spectacular front three
  7. Where would Darius Robinson fit in our 3-4? I’ve never seen him play, so I don’t know much about him. On paper he looks too big for an OLB. And borderline small for a 3-4 end. In a 4-3 he looks perfect. But again, that’s just on paper.
  8. I’m with you on Sweat. Getting a true nose like him is super intriguing. I’ve gone OC and WR, but I’m leaning towards Sweat at this point.
  9. Would be great to draft Randy Moss 2.0, but I have no idea what that has to do with Leggette?
  10. I agree, would be the dream pick. If we trade Burns for a first rounder we might have a shot.
  11. How good is Lloyd Cushenberry III from the Broncos?
  12. This is interesting and not unrealistic. They are known for big moves.
  13. Ok I stand corrected, it has nothing to do with his delivery. Thank you for letting me know.
  14. I don’t think you should discount Leaf because he busted 25 years ago. Do you really think he’s the same guy? I’ve only seen him once or twice in interviews, but he comes across as thoughtful guy. One main reason Cam gets a lot of flack is his delivery, he’s a smart guy, but he doesn’t always come across that way.
  15. The Athletic did a breakdown of Mayes and Daniels and the conclusion was that it is not even close, Daniels is way behind Mayes. Daniels is a great runner, but not as developed as a passer as they had thought. They did a comparison to Lamar due to similar playing style in College, and said the same thing, he is significantly behind where Lamar was as a passer, despite being older. I can’t find the article again as it was a while back, but it was really interesting.
  16. The reporter in question is just embarrassing herself at this point, her agenda is obvious. Really weird overall. Didn’t she used to be a good source, or do I have that wrong?
  17. I think o-line or wr will end up BPA, so that should work out well for us.
  18. He’s a good player, but he needs someone really good across from him, so by default he’s not worth what he’s asking for. For what he’s asking for, he should be a game wrecker and he simply isn’t.
  19. I think it is one version of the truth. Fitt led the charge, and in the end it was a consensus. Nicole was not a decision maker (hence not included in the group with consensus), but also felt different.
  20. Based on this thread he doesn’t sound like a guy that gets open quickly, so not a good fit imo, especially at 33.
  21. How is his ability to separate and getting open?
  22. Adding Onwenu at LG and drafting JPJ as center is my dream scenario. I think JPJ will be long gone by our pick, but after that WR showing maybe, just maybe there is a chance…
  23. It shows two things: 1) She is not part of the core decision makers group 2) She was right the whole time Both go against everything a core group on this board has complained about for a long time, often using very misogynistic tones. So maybe think a bit before next time.
