Can't comment on Giants/Cards but Commanders/Broncos has been Howell balling and Wilson sucking.

Must have made some good adjustments because Denver was pressuring the hell outta Howell before I stepped away

I thought it was a shoulder or something like that last week? But yeah, failing to finish your first two games is kinda concerning either way.

Might have been shoulder, but that hit he took week 1 looked like he got dazed which made me think it was a concussion. Either way, he's simply not going to make it taking hits like this every week.

Might have drafted the wrong QB as well.

AR looks the best of the bunch so far. Kind of suck he got a concussion today. I enjoy watching that Colts offense.

Richardson hasn't finished a game yet. I'd be worried. That's already two concussions in two weeks.

    Tepper's standards on display again.

Seriously, how is he so constantly bad at managing everyone and everything. Like any positive they do is overshadowed by failure. It's an impressively consistent trend.

I am not expecting it to change much either. I don't think this team has a chance until he burns through his need to play directly with the team and takes a big step back to a way more hands off approach and it's probably going to continue to stink for anyone along for the ride not in it just for the money.

Tepper went out and handpicked Rhule. Rhule went on to be one of the worst coaches in NFL history (win percentage wise). He's now handpicked Reich, but I'll give it time because it wouldn't be fair to judge off of one game (although I didn't want Reich after he choked against the then 2-14 Jags to make the playoffs). If he strikes out yet again with Reich and this (all star cast), then he needs to stay his ass out of the coach search process. But we all know he won't because he wants to be the "reason" we turn things around.

And don't even get me started on his turf installation. Terrible owner.

Don’t we have one of the cheapest offenses in the whole NFL?

    Holy sh*t you're right https://sports.yahoo.com/packers-spending-second-fewest-salary-151425477.html

Welp, you get what you pay for. NFL literally has it set up for offenses to dominate, yet here we are spending the least on offense in the whole NFL. This franchise is a joke.

i don’t want to be cynical it’s just a lot easier to not get my hopes up lol

No bad vibes, just reality. Hamstring injuries linger during the season. His body will overcompensate and something else will get injured. He'll be lucky to play 2 games this season.

Young can sling it. Elite arm strength is not there yet he's only 22. Off the charts physical ability isn't the end all be all anyway we saw that with Darnold. My issue is the same problems plagued us that have for the last few seasons. Our receivers are still struggling to gain separation and the ones who can are banged up and missing time. This is on our GM. He took enormous risks with this receiving core and traded away a hell of a lot for a young rookie QB.

We are so behind the modern NFL when it comes to prioritizing WRs. Look around the league and look at the top offenses. Dolphins have Hill and Waddle. Bills have Diggs and Davis. Chargers have Keenan and Mike Williams. 49ers have Deebo and Aiyuk. Eagles have AJ Brown and Devonta Smith. Detroit has Amon Ra St brown and Jameson Williams coming back. Jaguars have Ridley and Kirk. Cowboys have Ceedee Lamb and Brandin Cooks. Bengals have Chase and Higgins. Even with Justin Jefferson they added another stud in Jordan Addison.

Yet we still act like we can just get by by commitee. Should have went hard after Deandre Hopkins. Should have tried to snag Ridley from the Falcons (for a measly 5th round pick). Instead we trade 3rd rounders for CBs and use the majority of our cash and draft picks on defense.

  8. I expect the same result of every Panther game the last 5 years. Defense comes out balling and full of energy. We dominate the 1st half defensively. Offense manages to only put up 10 points by 4th quarter. Defense gasses out and let's up a go ahead TD. Offense comes right back out and gets 2 penalties and we go three and out. Saints run out the clock and we're back making the same threads next week.

Ok so the Huddle doesn't agree with me on this and they never will, but I would have already traded Burns and Brown for high draft picks. I would use those picks to build an elite offense around Young. Only AFTER we had a high octane offense would I look to build up the defense. The defense would cheap, young, and scrappy until i had the time to start building on it. Offense first. That way you protect Young, and you make the games more fun to watch. Defense second. Rhule came in and drafted all defense, and brought in game managing QBs. You saw what happened. Not on my watch.

Oh I agree with you 1000%. Just take a look at our weapons and then compare them to the top offenses in the league. Dolphins have Hill and Waddle. Bills have Diggs and Davis. Chargers have Keenan and Mike Williams. 49ers have Deebo and Aiyuk. Eagles have AJ Brown and Devonta Smith. Chiefs have Kelce. Detroit has Amon Ra St brown and Jameson Williams coming back. Jaguars have Ridley and Kirk. Cowboys have Ceedee Lamb. Bengals have Chase and Higgins. You get the gist. You could argue that WR has dethroned LT in today's modern NFL in terms of importance.

My point is, unless you have a Sean McVay who can scheme nobodies to two 100+ yard games, you aren't going to compete with the best in today's NFL without playmakers on offense. It doesn't matter how many studs you have on defense nowadays, it's not the 2000s anymore. The NFL is literally geared toward high scoring offenses now, and yet we're still so behind paying RBs $25.4 million and dishing out all our assets and money to defense.
