  1. What kind of dumbass logic is this? Tell me, what Oregon QB had success in the NFL before Justin Herbert? I'll wait.
  2. It would be the absolute most Panther thing to move up all the way to #1, lose your #1 WR because of it, only to draft the #3 ranked QB lmao
  3. People need to chill with the Cam comparisons lol Cam won a JUCO national title. Then went to Auburn, lead them to an undefeated record, winning a national championship (while winning the Heisman) going down as one of the greatest college seasons from a QB ever. Compare that to Richardson lol It's like comparing apples to oranges.
  4. Saints fans seem very sad to see him go so there's that.
  5. Fug that. Give me Zane Gonzales back. Don't trust Eddy in clutch moments for sh*t.
  6. RGIII as well. Not to mention Andrew Luck would have won the division at 11-5 if the Texans weren't great that year.
  7. Jarvis Landry in his prime is a good comparison. Somebody who can rack up yards, run good routes, but minimal TD upside. I don't see DJ Moore all of a sudden scoring a bunch of TDs.
  8. People and media are saying "BONAFIDE #1" lol Yeah no. I put him in that Gabe Davis, Devonta Smith, Mike Williams range. Moore is a good player, he is not elite like the media is making him out to be.
  9. I'd like to thank DJ Moore, that ref who threw the flag, the Steelers, and Tom Brady for saving us from 5 more years of continued outdated football. Y'all saved us from ourselves. We would have kept Wilks, not gotten this rockstar coaching staff, and would not have traded up for our QB.
  10. My bad. Accidentally said his little brother's name lol Meant Josh McCown
  11. Go watch Luke McCown dissect Stroud and Young's tape. And you know he is going to have a TON of say of who the QB will be. No way in hell we trade all the way up to #1 to draft a project in Richardson or Darnold 2.0 in Will Levis.
  12. Fug that. The lowest I'd trade back to is #2. The dropoff after Stroud and Young is IMMENSE.
  13. Exactly. The "Panthers mortgaged their future" perspective doesn't sit either. We didn't mortgage the future at all, it was more like a high interest personal loan. Even if our QB busts (which you'll know in 2-3 years anyway), then we'll have all our picks to try again. This was an absolute steal compared to what other teams in the past have given up to get the #1 pick.
  14. Superstar. He showed EVERYTHING in this game. Accuracy, escapability, scrambling, poise, touch, clutch (if his kicker could make a FG), against a defense (that included Jalen Carter) who made TCU look like a middle school team in the championship. This kid is the truth.
  15. IDK why some people from the media and on this forum keep counting this years 1st when we swapped. We only gave up a 1st, 2nd (2) and a player on the last year of his rookie deal. This was an absolute steal to move up 8 slots for the top selection of QBs!!
  16. Exactly. People around here and twitter saying we got fleeced are ridiculous. I thought it was going to take A LOT more than this to move up all the way to #1.
  17. This is a new culture!!! No more settling, we are being aggressive for the 1st time in history!!! We bout to get our franchise QB.
  18. Or watch us draft Trevor Lawrence and the Texans draft Zack Wilson (since Zach was the #2 pick).
  19. We could go after DHop and Thielen. We could go after Downs, Hyatt, Cedric Tillman in draft. We could go TE in the draft and get Kincaid. A lot of options now. People that think we are actually going into the season with Marshall as our #1 is ridiculous.
  20. Either Stroud or Bryce Young. Wouldn't be mad at either of them tbh (but still prefer Stroud). There is a HUGE dropoff after those guys, and now we get our choice, backed by known offensive coaches who know what the hell they are doing.
