Donte Jackson is always brutal. Dude has made a career outta getting burnt.
-
However, as a counter point, I would say it wouldn't have mattered anyway because it's clear now Fitterer would have just screwed up those high draft picks anyway so it's kind of a moot point.
-
Preach brotha. I'm a firm believer of tanking when you are not even close to superbowl caliber and your season is already in the drain. I was fully on board with the tank when we got rid of CMC. Should have continued with Burns and Brown and anybody else who could have gotten us a decent haul (including DJ).

I wouldn't even take him if the Broncos said we could have him for no draft compensation because I wouldn't want to pay him his 13 mil next year for a terrible WR. We overpay enough terrible players to add another one. Jeudy has shown absolutely nothing in this league.
-
He threw for 300 yards his first game lol
-
I knew we were fugged as soon as I saw that Clete Blakeman's crew was reffing it. In case people forgot, the Broncos were a perfect 5-0 in games refereed by Blakeman before that superbowl. And to make matters worse, he also grew up a Broncos fan. That superbowl was rigged from the start.

Let's play "I could be a better GM than Scott Fitterer"

#1 Trading for Darnold #2 Picking up his 5th year option before even seeing him play a down for us lol -
Would you find the Panthers going 0-17 funny?
Castavar replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
Just pick up Jeff Wilson. He's coming back from IR this week and both Mostert and him will have over 100+ yds each against this sorry run defense. -
Tepper and his soccer facility so glad he is ‘excited’
Castavar replied to raleigh-panther's topic in Carolina Panthers
Correct me if I'm wrong Soccer watchers, but didn't Tepper fire a coach who was overachieving in the middle of the season out of nowhere? -
You talking about the same rookie year where Peyton rewrote rookie records for completions (326), passing yards (3,739) and touchdown passes (26)?

Panther Shopping for Number 1 caliber WR, Top Priority
Castavar replied to ncfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Sh*t, I wish a team did value Bryce as 2 1sts. I would hop on that IMMEDIATELY. There is no way in hell ANY team in the league values Bryce that high. However, Fitterer would probably pass on that offer too lol -
Panther Shopping for Number 1 caliber WR, Top Priority

I was told we didn't need Deandre Hopkins lol He would have been PERFECT for a rookie QB, but Fitterer's dumbass thought a collective unit was better than an alpha WR I guess. -
I agree brotha. Until Tepper stops meddling with football decisions (which he won't, too much ego) we won't sniff another winning season for a long time.
-
Tepper would NEVER hire a coach like Harbaugh. Tepper wants a coach that has the same mindset as him. Harbaugh wouldn't put up with Tepper's sh*t.

Yep. You can try to eliminate symptoms one by one, but if the main thing causing the symptoms doesn't go away, you will continue to be sick.

Panthers LAST in the NFL in win pct since Tepper purchased the team.
Castavar replied to ncfan's topic in Carolina Panthers
We are now the team that people say "well, at least we aren't the ____________". At least we had mediocrity with JR and had hope every other season, we don't have anything anymore. -
I am so fuggin tired of everybody saying this. Peyton did not have a bad rookie year. Yes, he threw a lot of ints, but he also set the NFL rookie records for completions (326), attempts (575), passing yards (3,739) and touchdown passes (26). Stop with this narrative.

Now imagine our next coach that Tepper will handpick. Does a coach really want to put up with Tepper's sh*t, always looming over operations? Probably why Ben Johnson noped the fug outta here as quick as possible. He saw the circus from a mile away. We are royally fugged. Only retread coaches will put up with Tepper's sh*t.
-
Hmm, I wonder if the Panthers will FINALLY learn their lesson about overpaying RBs? Like I (and most huddlers on here) have said, you can draft a 5th round RB and be successful, as long as your o-line is solid. RBs are a dime a dozen.
-
We had the answer, Tepper just didn't like his zoom call (Shane Steichen).
-
Of course he hasn't. That's the main reason we're in this sh*t now

Reich wants to simplify playbook for Bryce
Castavar replied to mc52beast's topic in Carolina Panthers
Wait, what we've been running so far WASN'T simplified?! We've only been running 3 fuggin plays. Miles up the middle, WR screen, and Thielen crossing route. -
We go down 3-28 at halftime. Tepper comes onto the field at the start of the 3rd quarter and knocks Reich's ass out. He then pulls out a set of brass balls from his jacket and places it at the 50 yard line. Tepper then picks up the headset and locates a nearby camera and yells "this is my fuggin team now b*tch". Our team goes on a 100-0 run and wins 103-28. At the end of the game, Nicole Tepper comes running from the stands and holds her arms out going for a hug. She bypasses Tepper and goes straight to Bryce Young, embracing with a hug and making out with him. Tepper shrugs his shoulders and tosses his headset to the ground. 15 minutes later, Tepper sells the team to Ben Navarro. Bryce breaks up with his long term girlfriend and starts his new adventure with Nicole.

This was already known if you watched Bryce Young at Alabama. I have to find the stat again, but I believe he only took 4 snaps under center his whole career at Alabama. It seriously limits what you can do and how you disguise your offense, but it can be done if we had a better HC and scheme. Not only that, I'm also sad we will never be able to run QB sneak on important downs with Bryce. That also takes an almost automatic part of your offense out due to his size.

Yeah, and we would have had multiple superbowls if we ever gave him actual weapons.
