Reminds me of how we did Corral tbh It's not fair to players like Coker to not even be giving a chance to shine when you have Plummer sh*tting up the joint for 3 quarters each game.

That's how I think the majority of us feel at this point. There's no explaining the dumb sh*t this team or franchise does anymore, just know it's going to be the wrong decision no matter how you cut it.
-
I've wanted to see Coker actually get a shot. Canales already starting to show bad tendencies
-
Running while down 9 points in a preseason game. We're getting trolled people
-
Bad News, Tepper will meddle and sway the pick
-
Gonna steal this one lol
-
Exactly. That should be easiest time to get a TD.
-
Going 4th straight games without a TD is entering historically bad territory.
-
Tepper football ladies and gents. We've looked like this ever since he's gotten here
-
I've forgotten what a TD looks like
-
I've never seen an offense go backwards as much as much as the Panthers
-
Looks like we'll extend that no TDs to 4 games
-
Man, at least the defense will be exciting this year
-
Plummer making quicker decisions
-
Sanders sighting!
-
And yet again, the Panthers offense doing a good job going backwards lmao
-
We haven't scored a TD in the last 3 games dating back to last year, and yet with a brand new coaching staff and a 2nd year QB we don't think we need live reps lol

Inactives: Starters get the night off against Jets

And then they'll use the "rusty" excuse once we lose to the Saints week 1 -

You can't make this sh*t up. -
Wait, if we're scared to even play preseason games, why even practice then? I feel like we lose more players to injury in practice than anything tbh

What is the benefit to benching starters for the preseason?
Castavar replied to hepcat's topic in Carolina Panthers
I can't wait to see how many botched snaps we have week 1 because Bryce hasn't even taken a snap from Corbert in a game scenario yet. Can't wait for this team to blame it on "rust" when we lost to the Saints in the opener. We're like that ugly girl who thinks they're a queen and then wonder why they can't get a man. -
Bryce, Ickey, others looking good against jets. Video

Exactly. String together a couple of regular season games like this and collect some Ws, and maybe the narrative will start to change a lil bit. But until then, I will remain skeptical. Good step in the right direction though. Let's see how we build off of this. One thing's for sure though, it does seem that Canales has brought a WHOLE different attitude with this team. Definitely feels a lot different from previous years just in terms of attitude and scheme. We shall see. -

Exactly. So about a decade ago. His little 2nd stint here didn't even give him enough time to implement anything. -

GREAT stuff and insight right here! One huge thing I've noticed differently in terms of how our DBs are coached.........we're actually turning around for the ball now (which we also saw a lot in the first preseason game). There's no doubt that is being drilled in their heads by our coaches. I can't tell you how many years we've been questioning why our CBs NEVER turn around for the ball, which usually ends up in a DPI because of an underthrown ball by the QB. As for Bryce, this might have been his best practice yet. I have to see him do it when the real games start though, when they are actually allowed to hit him. But just happy he finally stringed together a great practice, joint practice at that.- 28 replies
