There are very few teams that can do what Dallas did to us. They can still play smashmouth football because they have the prototypical RB and the prototypical line to do it. Not a lot of teams are built like that (Browns, Titans, and Vikings come to mind). That's why I don't like the Vikings matchup in two weeks. They have the weapons, line, and RB to replicate what Dallas did and they've been competitive in every one of their games this year. A lot better than their record indicates. As for us, we'll be fine (unless the refs continue to allow teams to hold all they want against us). Refs were obviously against us from the start, our defense picked their absolute worst day to have a bad tackling day, were without CMC and Horn and with a gimpy Shaq and Reddick, had our typical 3rd quarter meltdown, and STILL only lost by a TD + 2 point conversion that we would have gotten if not for the most BS "forward progression" call of all time causing us to lose out on a fumble.

I don't think people realize just HOW BIG that loss of Horn was. He was able to shut down half of the field when he was out there, allowing this pass rush to tee off. Our depth isn't there yet to where we can just insert a backup in there and expect not a big drop off.

I still don't like how the Panthers always gives up with any sign of adversity though. Seems to be imprinted with this franchise. We're never a team to make it a close game when down 3 TDs. Just keep playing, we look defeated and there's still another Quarter to play. Anything can still happen if you keep fighting, but looks like we've thrown in the towel.

Eagles next week will be tough as well. Keeping up with the Chiefs as we speak and their D can expose this o-line even more.
