Am I the only one who thinks our defense has been overrated for two years straight now? Don't get me wrong, it's not a bad defense, but people talk like we are a top 5 defense and that simply isn't the case no matter what the stats say. This defense has blown so many leads, gotten their sh*t pushed in by the run, and has buckled every time they have faced a good offense. We have good pieces in place, but the scheme is gimmicky and has been exposed for 2 1/2 years now.

A top 2 draft pick. Darnold could string together some fluky wins. We NEED that top 2 pick for either Stroud or Young.

A new HC + a top 2 draft pick would bring some serious excitement within this franchise. We are not as far off as people think, no matter how bad these games are. We are losing these games mainly because of bad coaching and bad offense, which can easily be fixed with the right coaches hired (look at Jags).

You mean the same way that the Browns gave up on Mayfield, or the Jets gave up on Darnold? So you're saying we should stop prying players off of known dumpster franchises that don't even want them?

Highly doubt it. New coaches almost ALWAYS go get their own QB.
