How much do you think Tepper influenced "the pick"
Castavar replied to TheBigKat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Well, considering Tepper was already enamored with Bryce when he met him at the superbowl and told him he would love to see him in Carolina. Not to mention his wife "falling in love" with Bryce, I'd say he and his wife pretty much made the decision. As a new coach, are you really going to go against the grain of your boss man and his wife? Yeah, no. -
What record gets Reich fired?
Castavar replied to Sean Payton's Vicodin's topic in Carolina Panthers
Like I said in the offseason, anything less than Wilks SHOULD get him fired. But that shouldn't even be the point. Even IF we fire Reich, does anybody actually have any faith in this organization that we will hire the right coach next time? Until Tepper and his wife are removed, this will be a bottom 5 team for a long time. -
This doesn't help Brian Burns contract talks
Castavar replied to CanadianCat's topic in Carolina Panthers
Burns is an above average pass rusher and a terrible run defender. Nothing more, nothing less. He is not worth elite money, which is why you should have taken that trade last year and ran. But what does it matter anyway, this incompetent front office would have found a way to waste those picks anyway.- 55 replies

It only took him two games until he was hurt. Wow. What a disaster start to this season.

That dude is special man. I love drafting players with football pedigree family backgrounds too, and you can't get better than Prime Time. Steelers have a similar approach. Tepper is the main reason we are in this mess. Would not be surprised at all to find out that Tepper was the main culprit into pressuring us into getting Bryce Young (remember when Tepper went to an Alabama game and told Bryce Young he would love for him to be in Charlotte?). That was a Tepper pick all the way.

I always wondered how 2016 would have gone had we not rescinded Josh Norman's tag like some dumbasses, which in turn led to using 60% of our draft picks on CBs that year. God this franchise is so damn incompetent lol

Having a bottom 5 offense for 5 straight years is tiresome.

Tepper failed so hard with Rhule that this time around he OVERCOMPENSATED with Reich. He will never get it right.

Panthers' Offense: Some Core Concerns Surfacing Early
Castavar replied to Bear Hands's topic in Carolina Panthers
They just love moving those goalposts further and further back eh? First it was "it's just preseason, everything's vanilla". Then it was "it's only one week, chill out". Now it's "just wait until week8/9". After that it will be "just wait until next year when Bryce has a year under his belt". So forth and so on. Newsflash people, this offense ain't getting no better UNLESS Frank Reich lets Thomas Brown do what he was hired to do. -
Apparently the Falcons do to then.
-
Preach brotha. Hated when they said Navarro was out of the running, didn't think it would be THIS bad though. Tepper is a bottom 5 owner unfortunately.
-
Sheesh, we bypassed Stroud and Richardson because of Bryce's "processing". That's the ONLY thing he had over them, and he's not even doing that. Yikes
-
At least with Jerry Richardson we had the occasional magical season. This Tepper era is going to be very dark.
-
Further reminder we let go of Wilks for THIS lmao Serves us right
-
Let's hope it doesn't become a problem again then
-
He's had bad fumble problems dating back to college. Sanders also fumbled 10 times in 308 touches at Penn State.

Primetime game. Refs. Horn out. Saints 24 Panthers 17

I look at it like the Cam situation. Ok, you want to move on from him I get.................But not for fuggin teddy Bridgewater. Might as well just stuck with Cam. Same as Wilks, if you are going to another direction, Im fine with. But if you were just going to go get the coach who choked against the then 2-14 Jags to make the playoffs, then you should have just stuck with the guy who brought us back to a respectable level.

You're not wrong.

He got crunched. That looked bad

Still can't believe we took Corral over Howell lol Hopefully whoever made that evaluation is outta the building
-
Must have made some good adjustments because Denver was pressuring the hell outta Howell before I stepped away

Holy sh*t, I look away from my screen for 45 minutes, and I see Giants and Commanders have come back. WTH happened?!
