Doesn't matter, they'll get that yardage back in no time -
OFFICIAL Week 1: Panthers @ Jaguars Game Day Thread

Just on this drive alone we've let up a 4th down on their OWN side of the field, a 3rd and 10 (on a holding call that put them back), and bout to let up another 1st down on yet ANOTHER holding call that put them back. This D is garbo Keep in mind this is the Jags offense we are talking about, not some juggernaut offense. We are going to get railed all year on D -
And yet we were still ranked as one the least healthiest team in the NFL last year. "As of the end of the 2024 NFL season, the San Francisco 49ers and the Carolina Panthers were widely identified as the most-injured teams in the league. While San Francisco experienced a higher volume of injuries to key players, the Carolina Panthers were also among the league's least healthy teams in 2024." "According to SIC Health Score: The Sports Injury Central (SIC) Health Score, which quantifies a team's overall health, ranked the Panthers as the least healthy team with an average score of 78.1." Like I said, our conditioning and injuries continues to one of the worst in the league EVERY year throughout our whole existence. I have more

I'm more worried about conditioning than anything. This team seems to always have the worst conditioning in the league in terms of players being ready for the season and injuries. It supposed to be in the 90s in that humid Florida heat and I foresee our players gassing out before the 4th quarter where we will eventually lose the game, basically any other opening game for the Panthers.

Yeah I'm sure that 5th round pick is going to get us over the edge

For fuggin peanuts. Our only reliable WR last year (well you could say Coker) and veteran leadership amongst the WR group, gone for nothing. None of the moves we ever do makes sense. Is it really worth Bryce's development for draft picks that arent even going to make that team?
-
Our talent evaluation is absolute dog sh*t.

How TF can you be a GM of a professional football team and think its smart to draft a TE not only in the 1st round, but 4th overall lol -
For real. You probably only get one shot in your life to become a HC in the NFL, who the hell wants to hitch that wagon to a franchise like this?
-
Ben Johnson wanted nothing to do with us, and Adam Peters wanted nothing to do with us (we couldn't even secure a interview with him for our vacant GM spot lmao). Actually football gurus want nothing to do with Tepper? I see a trend here.
-
Team will never be good as long as Tepper owns the team

Its not a coincidence that Commanders were in the exact same position as us, but are on the up and up because they actually got a competent owner who let the football guys do their job. And now look, they turned their franchise around in one offseason. Owner hired a BEAST of a GM in Adam Peters (who I wanted so fuggin badly for years now), who then hired a competent HC that coached in a superbowl, who then went out and found their franchise QB..........all in one go. It took them 1 fuggin year to figure it out, meanwhile we're in what................year 6 now of Tepper and still nothing has changed? -

Let's just be happy we didnt botch this and made the kid keep playing through it cause he's a "dog". -
Still waiting on the same people every year to come in and say "oF cOuRsE wE lOoK bAD, wE'RE rUNNing A vAnILLA plAYbook!" as if we don't see the same incompetent sh*t once regular season hits. Tepper football will always be bad. We just got a bad owner. Commanders got lucky and got themselves a good owner, which is why they were able to turn it around in only 1 offseason.

Cam at his age and bum shoulder is STILL more of a playmaker than current Bryce and I would take him back in a heartbeat.

Is there a team in the league with a worse QB room than ours?
