  1. Levis showed more in his first NFL game than Bryce did all season.
  2. JPJ was right there for the taking and would have solidified the center position for 10+ years and would have contributed instantly. Instead, we're already struggling with botched snaps in practice and getting bullied up the middle already
  3. Maybe instead of doing stupid Panthers sh*t and drafting an already injured luxury RB in the 2nd we could have drafted Jackson Powers-Johnson (center from Oregon) and have the center position locked up for the next 10+ years. It's just sh*t like this that has held us back our whole existence. Like drafting a fuggin long snapper over Trey Smith when a guard was a HUGE need for us at the time.
  4. What games are you watching!? If he's not dropping a pass, he's getting a holding call..............or getting tripped up by the turf. Dude is the definition of a JAG (and I'm being pretty generous with the JAG part).
  5. My only optimism is new coaches, new schemes, not everybody practicing. But yeah. not expecting much until the Teppers are gone
  6. Was my favorite pick of the draft tbh
  7. Don't underestimate just how much a run upgrade Clowney is from Burns
  8. JaTavion Sanders slowly creeping his way up
  9. Sad but true lol God, PLEASE at least let this season be fun to watch. The last 4 years I've been out after the first game. Give us SOMETHING to get hype for, because it always seems week 1 ends in disappointment and then it follows throughout the whole season. Hell, I'd take a hard fought L, just let us put up a good game 1 for once.
  10. I just don't see that "IT" factor the was supposed to be the main reason we took him over Stroud. With Cam, you knew right from the jump in that Cincinnati preseason game that he was special (and then he comes out and smokes ARI's defense). Our only hope is that we surround him with enough talent and a great system that he can become a system QB like Tua or Brees. If we can create a deadly dink and dunk offense like the Saints with Brees or the Brady years with the Pats, then we might have a lil something.
  11. This dude making the team. I still can't believe he went undrafted. I wanted him in the 5th lol
  12. Yeah, I don't care what some fancy analytics say, we've all watched football long enough to know what justifies as a "deep throw". People need to start believing their eyes over analytics. Even in the underwear olympics (Pro Day) with NOBODY guarding his WRs, Bryce's deep throws looked weak and took forever to get there, and it was no different in real time. We got sold on a super processor and got a lemon.
  13. We got ourselves a WR that can actually get open. It was a win for us.
  14. Ima be honest, he looks more 5'8 than a legit 5'10. I mean, just look at this picture. Kyler Murray is a legit 5'10 and even he looks like he has an inch or two over Bryce and more bulkier
  15. It legit looks like he lost some inches. At some point, this is going to get to him (if it hasn't already). And a alpha leader can't be self conscious. Hope not though, I want the guy to succeed because that means we succeed. If he starts balling on the field, nobody will give a fug.
  16. Why would expectations be high? We've been the worst team in all of sports the past 5 years lol
  17. It's only creepy if it's a man saying it, right?
  18. It's more about the process and mindset for me. Because every team is going to miss on players. But if the logic is there, I have no problem whiffing on a player. It's when we take players like Vernon Butler as a luxury when we had the best tandem in the league instead of going after someone like Michael Thomas when we had a dire need at WR. Or drafting the 2nd best CB over the consensus #1 rated CB (Horn over Surtain). Or drafting taking a 5'9 QB over an equally rated 6'3 QB. Or drafting a long snapper over Trey Smith when a guard was a big need for us. So for me, it's not about who we draft, it's about whether the pick makes sense from a need or BPA standpoint, which more times that not leaves me saying "WTF" during the draft.
  19. Eh, take that with a grain of salt. CJ Stroud was "struggling" in training camp and preseason before he lit the league up. Cam Newton the same way. I just hope Bryce plays like a true #1 pick this year so Panthers football can be fun again. Fug everybody else
  20. Wow, Jstew looks like he's lost about 30 lbs. Good for him, dude is looking healthy
  21. I don't either tbh It takes more than just knowing the game inside out to be a good commentator. Timing, personality, energy, etc. Brady doesn't strike me as a guy that has an energetic tone in his voice. More monotone if anything. Fox really screwed the pooch with this one. This is the equivalent of cutting your QB that just won MVP lol
  22. That Bryce game vs LSU is all I needed to see to know he wasn't it. I said in one of the threads that Bryce will be seeing pressure up the middle ALL THE TIME in the NFL. He struggled MIGHTILY in that game (and Texas for that matter) because of that interior pressure.
  23. Honestly, training camp and preseason will tell me a lot. Last year's preseason was one of (if not the) worst preseasons I have EVER witnessed. A lot of us even said it right away but got met with (lol it's only preseason.......vanilla playcalling......durr). I want execution in the preseason. 1st and 2nd string able to pull together some successful plays/drives and not look like the worst team in the NFL in all phases getting bullied by other teams 3rd stringers against our 1st stringers like last year.
