  1. To my recollection, people weren't touting for Bryce, but rather content if he were to be the pick. I think people starting accepting it after news starting coming out that Tepper really liked Bryce and after the S2 scores started being leaked.
  2. As soon as we traded up to #1, I think the consensus on this board was Stroud. Even Vegas had it as such. We had McCown calling him "Joe Burrow 2.0", having everybody geeked out that we were getting our own Joe Burrow. Until a month later when Tepper stuck his fat nose into the decision and ruined everything. But yeah, like somebody said earlier, anybody that watched Stroud SHRED that historic Georgia D knew the kid was going to be something special. I'm keeping my receipts!!!
  3. Let's just be honest with ourselves. If we drafted Stroud and were in the position the Texans are right now, up 45-14 in a playoff game AS A ROOKIE, and Bryce was on the Texans and they went 2-15, we would all be on cloud nine right now. Charlotte would be bumping like the old days with Cam.
  4. We essentially traded up and picked Trubisky over Mahomes lmao
  5. So you're betting on Tepper to pick the correct GM and coach? Because I sure as hell don't.
  6. Something special about this team. Demeco and Stroud is one hell of a pair. Not to mention their GM Caserio who some on here wanted at the time. Good job Texans, you found your core for the future.
  7. Sorry, but as soon as we traded up a ransom to get Bryce, this was always going to be a comparison for the rest of their careers.
  8. I personally am hoping Stroud leads his team to a superbowl his rookie year. It would be the ultimate middle finger to Tepper and this franchise. Sucks for us, but anything to embarrass Tepper.
  9. I pray Tepper is watching this game hahahaha Fug you Tepper
  10. Man, I am so jealous watching both of these offenses scheme up players open. Actually nice to watch NFL offenses for once.
  11. And it's not even close Anybody that tries to refute that is just coping at this point.
  12. There's a reason Bryce opted to not throw at the combine.
  13. Does Bryce even attempt some of these passes we see Stroud throwing?
  14. You do not want to go against Flacco in the playoffs.
  15. CJ Stroud with a great job going through his reads.
  16. That is pretty damn ironic lol Who would think our #1 pick would be worse than all of them too haha
  17. I did not like what I saw from Bryce vs LSU or Texas. The BIGGEST red flag I saw in those games was he could not handle interior pressure. I was worried because that happens all the time in the NFL. He's just too short to see down the middle of the field when there's pressure up the middle, which is a death sentence for a QB. And he's not as mobile as Russell Wilson was, so he has no hope. Kyler Murray has shown WAY more in both college AND the NFL, and even he isn't a franchise QB. We done fugged up.
  18. It's just crazy to me that between the combine, private workouts, and college tape, that THIS was the guy to choose over Stroud. The blunder of the decade right here. You cannot tell me our scouts (that get paid millions) came back with all that research and concluded this was THE guy. I just don't believe they were that incompetent. This was a Tepper move 100%.
  19. New England might be the new dumpster fire organization along there with us. It is now clear that Tom Brady WAS the whole operation there. As for Vrabel, get that motherfugger in here ASAP! Dude VASTLY overachieved with bad QBs and a running game. We have needed a culture change in this organization since Cam left and Vrabel would bring a much needed change in that department.
  20. Even a blind squirrel can find a nut once in a while, right?..................RIGHT?! That's literally our only hope is to get lucky.
  21. Tepper isn't going anywhere. He's petty enough that he would move the team before he admitted he was the problem.
  22. This will end well lol We are so fugged. This is the first time ever in my time of watching Panther football (been a fan since I was 8 years old, I'm 30 now) that I might go try and find another team to follow until Tepper removes himself from this franchise.
