Watching everybody else's preseason games has shown me that we are still the worst ran franchise by far.

You think Cam would have allowed seeing his WR's smiling after dropping two passes? HELL NO. Like seriously, who are the dogs on this team? I can think of maybe two......Shaq and Derrick Brown. That's literally it. Tepper created this atmosphere. He came in and instantly neutered the attitude this franchise used to represent. I remember a time when we were like on our 5th RB with Nick Goings and STILL competing. Still trying and giving a damn. Fighting. Showing heart. I also think that was the year we started 1-7 and STILL almost rallied back to make the postseason, with injuries EVERYWHERE that year. That's all we want to see, not two sorry ass WRs laughing on the sideline because they dropped two passes. Dude's who were both drafted in the 2nd round mind you. Tepper has officially put his "stamp" on the football side of things. This team has taken on his image and attitude. All the way from the GM to the players.

I'm not gonna judge Canales until the real games get going. But he has a steep road ahead of him. This roster is depleted of talent. And it looks like this draft class is going to be no better.

That is what you call potential. Making something out of nothing is what the best QBs in the league do. Not saying Milton will become anything like that, but the potential is evident. Legit looked like Cam on that scramble

I do find it worrying that both Mingo and Terrace can't get seperation against their 2nd/3rd string guys. They're supposed to make that jump this year and can't even get separation from backups.

I know Patriots offense is just as bad as ours (both their starters and backups), but our fundamentals on defense look surprisingly good. Coverage is absolutely lock down, run defense look solid, not a lot of missed tackles, etc.

We already had this discussion last preseason. It definitely matters. Look for individual matchups. We were absolutely getting demolished with each position group last preseason, starters and backups, and we displayed it once regular season hit.
