  1. I'm still bracing for Kenny Pickett come draft time. Their whole acknowledgment of the crap OL only after the season was over is typical BS from them. Rhule is going to want Pickett and get him.
  2. The sad thing is he thinks he's Bob Kraft letting a Belicheck type do his thing lol. I see no way in hell we even sniff the playoffs at this rate next year so we'll be sitting at this next offseason in the same exact position. 5-8 wins, high-mid 1st round pick, no QB, sh*t coach. At this point, I can realistically see a scenario where he appears less and less, we go 8-9 next year, and Rhule is retained again.
  3. It is really unfortunate to hear that Rhule is seemingly running the show with Tepper’s confidence. I’m starting to really question this whole franchise now.
  4. For real. All QBs have so much to gain. If Corral, Willis or Ridder can dazzle like Zach Wilson did last year, they could skyrocket up boards. I can also see a PIT or NO falling for Strong.
  5. The one team that I can see having the capital to take a gamble are the Broncos. It all hinges on if they land Rogers or Wilson. Thing is, rumblings are DEN wants Rogers. However, if they don't, can easily see them leaping NYG and ATL to assure themselves Corral or Pickett. New coach, they haven't gambled on a 1st round QB since Paxton Lynch and I doubt they want to roll with another middle of the pack QB. They also have (2) 2nds and (2) 3rds. Could easily them making the gamble to keep up with Herbert and Mahomes. We'd stay near the top of the draft and probably land pick 60 (2nd) or (75 3rd+a 5th) -- I just don't see another team. Given the top talent, I just don't see a team trading up a bunch of picks so it would have to be top 15-ish. ATL isn't trading, NYG and NYJ already have picks ahead of us, best other bets are WAS, CLE or MINNY but I just don't see any of them THAT desperate. It's why I keep thinking there won't be many calls, and that war room may look and say, well do we pick our favorite QB in this draft and take the first one off the board? And ensue CH mayhem.
  6. The Athletic Football Podcast is legit and Brugler's show the other day highlighted this well. It's not likely we're able to trade down.
  7. I mean if you can’t tell I’m not being serious haha cmon man
  8. I figured out their grand plan to continued mediocrity— Jim Harbaugh goes to LVR, they trade for CMC (The McCaffreys and Harbaugh are super tight) & we get Carr in a blockbuster. This lures Russell Wilson. The Pacific Northwest faction gets together in Vegas. We end up 7-10 with Derek Carr. Rhule is retained for progress lol.
  9. I have a weird feeling Watson has never wanted to be here and it’s really the only guy Tepper has wanted. So it’s a pickle with a turd in Matt Rhule soaking in the vinegar. Turd pickles.
  10. It is officially open season to call your hall pass on fandom leases for 2022. I’ll go with the Bengals again. If they keep it up, maybe I’ll just float that way permanently.
  11. If they trade for or overpay for ANOTHER mid-career veteran never-was, I won't know what to say anymore. Like, how many times does reality need to keep smacking these bozos in the face?
  12. 2 of his first 3 plays were TDs, the other was like a 40 yard grab. So they went ahead and stopped using him. Checks out. I really like what he brings but his utilization after we were eliminated made zero sense. Just like Marshall, Shi, Brady C, & Deonte. Very strange how little faith this staff had in their own handpicked rookie class.
  13. He had a lot of pro-concepts and had a lot of presnap reading involved with the offense so he's ahead of where a lot of prospects are from that point of view. Beyond the injury (which he appears behind) the one thing that gets me: escapability A lot of immobile QBs can still be very sly about escaping pressure through quick footwork and the small nuances. He tends to get sloppy under pressure footwork wise which can affect the throws to his second and third reads. He can get to those reads quickly though so his progression is above-average from what I saw. Mechanics: check (near top of class) Progression/Reads: check (average to above-avg) Arm: check (top of class) Presnap: check (top of class) Leadership: check (nothing out of this world) Mobility: none (bottom of class) Footwork: average (middle of class)
  14. I think he’ll be a very good pro for NO or PIT. He’d get destroyed here. My favorite QB in the draft if I had to pick one to play right now. Though still think Corral was the best bend of everything
  15. Chosen, I think you’re stuck in a time loop in 2014
  16. Oh lawdy that’s not embarrassing or anything haha
  17. I vote JP Losman for OC and QB
  18. It’s tearing up my heart when I’m with you, but when we are apart I feel it too. And no matter what I do, I feel the pain, with or without you. So bye bye bye Don’t wanna be a fool for you, you’re just another player in this game. Bye, bye, bye -Davos
  19. Dear David, [prolonged sigh] bad owner, bad! Signed, Panther Nation
  20. I think we will need to accept Christensen as a swing backup under this regime. A nice one at that that can start but this staff clearly doesn’t have a clear picture in mind for him.
  21. Exhibit A being Elijah Mitchell being an absolute force outplaying Sermon (beyond his injuries). Early vs late rounders taken in the same draft. Which is also why I’m a huge fan of using late rounders this year on WR and RB. OL 1-4, 5-7 BPA
