I’ve been big on Malbec’s this winter. rockstars. My thing has always been to spot how they display the appellation and get to know the import groups. Current fave styles: Cotes De Rhône Barbara And a damn good French Sancerre I typically fall in the 16-30 bottle range store, 55-75 restaurant. That’s where you can get the best by you don’t need to go for the crazy pricey.

If a team thinks they found their QB, then yeah, it would be worth using our 2023 pick and maybe one of our 5ths. This would be easier to stomach if we had a new coach right now so I'd prefer we just run up to pick Neal and gamble on a softer trade up for a B-tier guy like Howell or Ridder in the 2nd or 3rd. That would take a bit less and we'd have our 23' first for a top QB if all fails.

We basically have 4 promising young defensive pieces and CMC and Moore on offense. Neither of which are elite (either too injured or not game changers) The rest of the team minus now 2 longer term lineman (Moton and a Corbett) are completely expendable/would likely see turnover with the next coach. Very disappointed TMJ was so non impactful when it’s the other way around these days for rookie WRs.

Chinn, Horn, but more importantly Burns and Brown need to become the all-pro types we’ve been hoping for. Those four actually taking leadership roles would come a long way.

Penning is getting drafted ahead of him. Cross and Thib are gonna slip. Penning ahead of Cross Jermain Johnson Jr and Walker ahead of Thibodaux Garrett Wilson is also going high. Possibly top-7
-
Said it elsewhere. Seahawks may want Willis, we may not be sold. 9, pick 41 and a 2023 pick for 6. corral & an OL in R2
-
We could’ve really used Terrell McClain and Fua at this point

Pittsburgh seems like this oft mentioned target but pick 20 is too far down for me; feel there's a top-10 to 12 that's the clear top tier this year. Now if it's too rich for PIT to trade ahead of us, I can see another team wanting to ensure Willis, especially if they don't end up with Baker...Seattle who now sits at Pick 9. Make it a simple trade--they can send us Pick 41 & a 2023 3rd Rounder to get their QB. We then sit at 9, could still land Cross, Penning, Thibobaux, Walker, Jermain Johnson, Garret Wilson, hell it would make me stomach Pickett if he falls. I think there just needs to be a team that wants Malik hard enough. Could easily see Seattle and Pittsburgh fighting over it. Maybe even NO or ATL but we can't work with them in the division, but we can ensure Malik goes elsewhere. So then... Pick 9: Penning or Charles Cross LT or Walker/Johnson DL or Kenny Pickett QB Pick 41, R2: Kenyon Green/Raimann/Tyler Smith OL or Desmond Ridder/Sam Howell/Carson Strong QB Round 4-7: More Linemen It opens things up but we still land a top player. Just wouldn't want to fall too far in the first. Need the potential all-pro type and I don't see a ton of them outside the top-1st

It’s Pickett people. I don’t necessarily want it but accept it. We’re likely drafting him. Embrace the hands
-
Could turn into a comp pick honestly. Nice letting him go IMO
-
I’d be surprised if it isn’t Pickett at this point. Unless they really decide to roll the dice with Willis, we’re likely selecting Pickett and will have to come to terms with it in a month-ish
-
Did he though? I think that trash org just wanted Wentz.
-
Tried what? Entirely different player, circumstance, situation and teams.

Regarding Darnold, he is in fact a negative asset. But we pay him if we want to play him or not so wanted his contract off the books for this season tells me we're still positioning for something interesting. I have no clue, could very well be Jimmy or Baker but I'd love to think it's something out of left field.
-
His extension has hit a halt and I just don't think it's out of the picture for Baltimore. I know he's their dude and former MVP, but is he worth the extension they'd be willing to give? If everyone is on the table for a given price and we are really in on every deal, I'm calling them to see what their price is. We have the moolah now to give any QB a huge freaking contract and pieces I can frankly see Baltimore coveting on our defense.

All it takes is for Aiden to go #1 and Willis goes ahead of us, we could have an amazing player at our disposal
-
It's also possible they're not even strategizing and will in fact do just that.
-
I have no idea with Ridder. I feel like he just plays awkwardly…but it sounds like some teams are high on him and his interviews have been good. Could see someone reaching for him at the end of the first but could also see him falling to the 3rd-4th. Really don’t know with him.

Chris Simms top QB is Matt Corral and why you should listen

Yeah the other thread with the video and info was good. Thought his take on Pickett was interesting, especially since he didn’t fall into the “hand size is irrelevant, just play good football” camp. He think Pickett’s thumb is an issue causing a weird grip… and it’s clearly what our guys were looking at in the clip, not the length of his fingers/overall hand size. He’s got a weird grip and the gloves and thumb can cause issues with his mechanics. -
You’re really on a roll skip

POLL: What Will It Take For You To Be OK With Keeping Rhule?
davos replied to travisura's topic in Carolina Panthers
Prefer him to go regardless of record/playoffs. He’s not an offensive or defensive guy, he’s just a ra-ra college coach out of his league. Doesn’t even really seem like a football guy. He’s very much a program type.
