  1. I remember Star ‘s crazy good outing in that Utah-USC game and never thought we’d wind up with him. Was very stoked.
  2. If we’re just looking at players, not team situation, I want Garrett Wilson. He’s a star
  3. Think we're looking at Ekwonu/Neal or trade down. I choose...pandemonium
  4. There've been so many hints that teams really like both Jameson and Wilson. But not a lot of press which tells me they're really 2 of the most coveted players that teams want to trade up for. I imagine we have preliminary talks in place with at least a few teams who are targeting them with a trade up so the call and negotiation can be swift. But brace yourself for a mid-round 1 Pickett selection if this is the case.
  5. I think they REALLY like Garrett Wilson We'd be a pretty ideal trade target to get ahead of ATL, NYJ, SEA, & WAS, all potential WR suitors. And we're probably pretty tight connection wise after ongoing Watson discussions for the past 1.5 years. We land 13, 37, 80 and a future 3rd (or something like that)
  6. If you have to ask "Is that bleu cheese or mold?" You're gonna have a bad time.
  7. Also--don't forget to check your expiration dates. A good fridge has no spoiled food.
  8. Current Rumor Mill top-5: 1-JAX: Walker DE 2-DET: Thibodeaux DE 3-HOU: Stingley CB 4-NYJ: Hutchinson DE 5-NYG: Charles Cross OT 6-CAR: Ekwonu, Neal or trade down..please just take a tackle The idea of trading down to lose out on a top talent, just to position ourselves for a QB is not smart. You stay put or trade up for a QB (philosophy wise, not this draft). You don't trade back to make it seem like you're not reaching and get a R2-3 caliber QB instead.
  9. I don't know. He gets all sort of jitters under duress. He's more of a 5-7 in my book. All signs seem to point to us getting him, somehow, someway.
  10. If it makes us feel better, Jake Locker and Christian Ponder were high first rounders with lesser college resumes and measurables. Is it really our third glove guy? Carr, Teddy, and then Pickett? Oh lawdy It would be sufferable if he had one outlier talent. Average arm, average pocket presence, everything is so average, then 1 solid year AFTER Pitt changed up their IOL and gave him huge pockets.
  11. If we trade down into the first, it's going to be Pickett. Gut feeling. And we will likely get some IOL, WR, and DL with the remainder of the draft. Hopefully IOL in the 2nd if we gain one. If we stay put? Neal. Gut says Ekwonu and Cross are gone 1. Walker (lol) 2. Thibodeaux 3. Hutchinson? Stingley? 4. Ekwonu (They covet Jermain Johnson but this way they can try to get him at 10/trade up) 5. Cross (or Hutch?) 6. Neal (or) Trade Down w/ NYJ (10), HOU (13), PHI (15). Land Pickett. The big wildcard is still Houston. If they pass on Hutchinson but the Jets covet getting an OT, Could we legimtiately have Hutchinson fall into our laps?
  12. I don’t know who that would be. This draft has a top-3, Penning and then a Cliff. Maybe the Tulsa kid or a Raimann but there’s a big talent gap.
  13. It means he has no good sources in the league right now so has resorted to becoming a sassy tweeter
  14. Ravens have been mine. They’re great with the mid round picks so I’d suggest their 2nd, one of their 3rds and a future 3rd. Houston at 13. They add on pick 37 & 80 at minimum to grab Garrett Wilson. Think there’s some smoke there. Texans, Ravens, Eagles I can see wanting to trade up
  15. I had a dream that we traded up to 3 for Ekwonu. Can really see Houston trading into our spot from 13 for Garrett Wilson. McShay mentioned he heard some chatter about Houston trying something like that on PMT
  16. That saucy news really brings the flavor back to this thread
  17. Everyone knows our situation, wants, needs and it’s all self-inflicted. Naked fat man trying to play chess that doesn’t realize he’s naked..and in a mental ward.
  18. Was gonna post the same thing. Have a plan in place longer than the average players career span.
  19. I think Rhule is gone barring a very successful year. He’s not throwing him under the bus in an interview (he know better) but you can see it
  20. That draft was a nightmare scenario w/ Ekwonu, Neal and Cross gone. And agree, the compensation was not adequate. 15 for 6 requires a minimum both 2022 & 2023 2nds. Possibly their 2023 1st instead. Then Willis or Ridder at 15.
  21. Corroborated by Joe Person on the Athletic Pod today. They also ran a writers mock where all 3 tackles went (Neal, Ekwonu, and Cross) Person basically said the fanbase has not only lost interest but gone from apathetic to angry. That we’re basically in a dark place and Rhule and stepper may go Pickett if they can’t trade down in that type of scenario. Looking bleak haha. They basically reasserted how we’re the most interesting team because of how poor shape we put ourselves into.
  22. They should ask him where the guy is that’s supposedly running football personnel operations
  23. It is still very weird we still haven’t seen Rhule outside of his college tours and that weird radio interview. Especially considering he’s apparently got final say and all. Can’t believe they’d rather hide the shmuck and go through this crap than just sought out a new HC
