  1. Why are we running a 3-3-5 against a run heavy team on first downs? Fire Snow, Fire everyone
  2. This is the most unwatchable I’ve ever seen us. Even compared to 2011
  3. If we stay this bad for the final 2 quarters, I really don’t think it would a problem to fire Matt Rhule tomorrow.
  4. Yeah this is beyond awful. Embarrassingly bad. This is 0-17 looking bad. Still ready to fire everyone.
  5. This is the worst opener performance I’ve seen since Jake post AZ playoff slaughter. Playcalling and preparedness are nowhere to be seen
  6. 27-19 win Baker goes for over 300 but throws a few ints CMC has a 20-100+8-75 line We get our first splash TDs in some time in this (25+ yarders) Line gets 5+ sacks Chubb gets 125+ yards, De'Ernest Johnson has a big play
  7. Bills made it to the playoffs McD's first year, Allen missed 5 games the 2nd 6-10 year with Peterman/Barkley/Anderson playing, they have been a playoff team since year two if you look at the roster construction. They've been a high end playoff team since 2019 and a SB contender since 2020.
  8. The funniest thing is they're probably way past it because this was a half decade ago and we're still here all affectionate. McD left in early 2017, traded up to grab Dion Dawkins one spot ahead of us Rd2 to land his LT. Solved it immediately. This ain't the 'not so distant past' anymore by NFL standards. Beane came in and they built a powerhouse together rather swiftly. They were able to build up Allen, trade for top shelf weapons, develop weapons on both sides of the ball. Only misses is they can't seem to identify a stable RB. They left, we haven't been to the playoffs since, they built a SB contender in ~2 years. Since they splintered off--QB wise, we've been through Cam, Allen, Heinecke, Teddy, PJ, Sam, Cam again, PJ again, and now Mayfield. LT wise...Chris Clark, Greg Li...nvm, Dennis Daley, had Daryl try it out, Van Roten, Okung, Trent Scott, Daley again, Erving, Christensen (and I'm missing some). Seriously..took us that long but I'm hopeful with Icky.
  9. I’m a Baker fan. The dude clearly respects his peers even if he rubs people the wrong way. At least he’s not paying people to rub him in any way possible like the Browns guy.
  10. A coach signs up to be fired, retired, or gracefully find another job. And in rare occurrences, you get what is called a Nick Saban
  11. This Iaoniddis dude better look good on the DL alongside an average to sometimes above average Brown. We have better LBs against the run with Wilson so do wonder if the Run-D holds up better than expected. VERY interested in their secondary against our WRs outside of the Ward-DJ matchup. Baker practiced against all those guys last year and knows their tendencies. And they're a bit overrated after Ward.
  12. STO ahead of Keith Taylor is my most surprising bit. Expected Shi and Higgins where they are. Luvu starting, Elf ahead of Boze due to injury. But STO has looked super bad at times while Taylor stuck tightly through against some big talent last year. That's an interesting one.
  13. So you want to make the playoffs but don’t mind if we get curb stomped and exit immediately? That sounds like acceptance of mediocrity and being content just looking good. Not my cup of tea. Especially in the NFL where there is parody and not this slow build process being alluded to. We looked better in their first year, last year regressed and underperformed. They need to outperform expectations. Simple as that.
  14. Yup, it's kind of why I thought to add that last line. Record aside, playoffs and no embarrassment in them would be nice, and heck, maybe we get a playoff win. I just don't see how some would accept just a bit of improvement to some mediocre record and no playoffs ESPECIALLY considering the NFC. There's basically TB & LAR. Green Bay should still be set even without WRs but the rest... Eagles, Cowboys, Vikings, 49ers, Cards? I feel like this roster can definitely compete with those squads. Looking at the rosters, we stack up with those teams and not the Falcons, Bears, Commies of the world.
  15. I've seen this topic come up in a few threads and figured to make one of its own as it seems to stir up the most lively debate. For me: The BRAND/Process is 10-23, coming off a 7-game losing streak. I'm at the end of the rope and they simply need to start winning. Players looking good and going 8-9/9-8 does not cut it. Winning record & playoffs are a must. And in addition, the playoff appearance cannot be an embarrassment or blowout. Time to put up or shut up, not going to be impressed with things simply seeming better and the record only marginally better. They improved the OL, CMC is back, have a playoff winning QB/best since pre-Watt Cam, and a solid D (fingers crossed on run-D). There is no excuse to end up 8-9ish with these guys in a wide open NFC.
  16. Nice to see some light, but as said in the thread, this staff has A LOT to prove this season. I'm not just turning to blind optimism. Time to just start winning games.
  17. True reason was the fiancé went to bed early and I had too much wine lol
  18. Yes things can happen and things can also not happen. Universe, existence. His product speaks for himself and he shouldn’t be here. I can’t change anything but I CAN make a thread here that clearly annoys lol
