  1. I'm pretty sure I bought a new cabinet for my record player through the link.
  2. Honestly forgot PJ. One thing though--Cho has said he wants 3 PGs on the roster. Don't know if it was just presser talk and yeah, Roberts doesn't really add much scoring, but it'was mentioned.
  3. That's true. The more discernible difference nowadays is with the guys more on the SG/PG side and then as we're talking about, the SG/SF side. Batum is that 2/3 type, he's our swingman. We've got a handful of them now on the squad (Taylor, Hairston) but Batum is far and away the best one of the but he's going to primrily be our 2. Beyond just wings, you've got these types in the league like Klay, Beal, Korver, Wiggins, etc. but then there's the likes of a Harden, Wade, Oladipo, Ellis on the other end. Going into the offseason, I think a lot were dead set on finding the latter but we went out and got Batum, Lamb, possibly a PF that finally sticks, and Linsanity. Interesting approach. I think the one people may be underestimating is Lamb. I'd love to see him rebound in Charlotte. I think the fact that our 2 is only 1.5" shorter than our 5 is probably why casuals are confused. The way I'm looking at our lineup now: Kemba-Lin-Roberts Batum-Lamb MKG-Marvin Frank-Zeller Jefferson-Hawes -A possible rotation could be Kemba-Lamb-Batum-Frank-Al; with Lin running the court: Lin-Lamb-MKG-Zeller-Hawes -Taylor, Daniels, Harrison, and whoever else are battling it out for the final active. I'd still like to see another 4/5 big added rather than having more of a cluster in this one area.
  4. I don't think people are saying he won't play there. He's our starting SG and also a utility piece that can be used in a few different ways.
  5. Nowadays, athletic 2/3 types can present some flexibility but we have a lot of guys that really seem to be more on the 3 side: MKG (strictly), Batum, Lamb, Taylor, Hairston. We still don't have a pure guard on this team (Minus Aaron). It seems they wanted size that can shoot this offseason.
  6. So many of Cowherd's questions are such odd "softballs" that it'd be hard for many to not respond awkwardly. I'm not a Harbaugh fan but he really approaches football as job. Similar to as what many think of their job but he's actually damn good at it...just a dick. But then Cowherd turned it around and explained what was up and then Harbaugh seemed crazy brainless.
  7. I was a few margs deep when I posted that haha. I understand Biz is extremely poor on the offensive side but it looked like he was learning when to take the right shots last year. His awareness and ball control is still quite damn bad. I've been expecting this move though, just really worried about our defense because it's not like we got any truly lethal offensive threats. I feel rather than getting a truly offensive powered team this offseason, we got solid offensive players with poor defense. If Clifford actually plays Frank, him and Al could be a decent pairing. But Fitting Zeller and Hawes into the equation is just hard to see for me. What would be nice is if they actually play Frank since they were willing to pass up on a lot of different opportunities to make the pick. His defense isn't awful by any means and put him, MKG, and Batum on the floor then Kemba/Al can go do whatever they do haha.
  8. Put him in the right role and he could excel. He's a ~15-18 minute rim protector. This is the type of sh*t I don't wanna see in this forum. Sorry Teeray, I never take jabs as long as I've been here but that's a f*cking stupid one-dimensional post. Admittedly, similar to Biz's game, but if we don't know how to capitalize off his strengths with the right pieces, then we don't deserve him. Now I'm not saying he's good on offense or anything but that doesn't take away his ability to mesh with the exact 4-5 types we're bringing in. Makes no f'n sense in my honest opinion. I want basketball talk in this forum. Tired of seeing this one-liner bs.
  9. I'm going to hold my breathe for our front court defensively. Zeller, Frank, Al, and Hawes? Yikes. I understand getting guys that can shoot but you need balance. Unless we're somehow shipping Al? I'm very lost with this team's decision makings this offseason more than ever. They made me feel good for like 2 days after acquiring Lamb and Batum.
  10. Look at this profile page: http://www.nba.com/draft/2015/prospects/juan_vaulet?ls=iref:nba:draft:board
  11. Exactly haha. That's why I've had very low expectations with us keeping him this offseason. He'll probably go to a playoff team and excel as a rotational piece.
  12. For some reason (and considering who we have, I don't know why) but I just don't think we're gonna retain Biz.
  13. With Clifford setting the rotation with Zeller, Frank, Al, and Hawes...this could very well turn into a disaster.
  14. Biz isn't a sure thing to come back.
  15. Like having Batum and MKG. That's about it. We have no rim protectors and Brian f'n Roberts is our backup PG.
  16. Seriously. Boo this team. We trade for a mediocre offensive big, got Batum and Lamb for a year, gave up on last year's lottery pick at the age of 19, and select a big with questionable defense. ZERO rim protectors.
  17. This is going to be an expected and hilarious poll result haha
  18. I think Phoenix is gonna be a big sleeper next season. They officially have no minutes for Archie Goodwin by the way. I think he could be an interesting target for a team in need of a guard who goes on hot streaks. Bledsoe Knight/Booker Warren/Tucker/Morris Morris/Wright Len
