  1. I think 19 mil is a good bet. If he wasn’t still so young and let’s say a 26-28 yo getting a second contract, then I’d have more pause. Thing is, he may have leverage, could easily decline whatever we throw at him and make great money in a better situation.
  2. Yeah this OL class is really looking like a strong one at the top. There's a clear top-3 but then like ~10 guys in the Top-50 that could all go. Damn shame if we can't trade down and Darnold and Hendo are the reason why we can't grab any.
  3. I was really interested in seeing him and agree. Dissapointed. K, so next dates up--Combine later in the month. And then we look to March 17 & 25--Pickett & Corral's pro days will be the next big ones.
  4. Combined with the best RB today being Baylor. Buckle Up, Rhule's getting the crew back together.
  5. Zappe was really trying to push it but his arm didn't look that good. Active in the pocket though.
  6. The violent bullies ON the field in this class: Charles Cross, Kenyon Green, & Jamaree Salyer
  7. Abram Smith showing out. Not just a Baylor product but was personally recruited there by Rhule. They're tight. Mid to late rounder. How Abram Smith Stuck It Out At Baylor And Made Name For Himself | The Draft Network A lot of the Baylor guys Rhule more heavily recruited are coming out of this class. Just an FYI, could be good in the backfield with Chuba and a Baylor/Temple pick that would actually be a good one.
  8. They're barely even letting him throw at that
  9. Maybe Strong will look good but this is leaving a lot to be desired. Great LB and DL play. This game may be helping Matt Corral's stock more than anything else ha.
  10. I think Matt Rhule just gasm'd
  11. The boys got a cannon and can run...but these drives aren't going anywhere. For a game where blitzing isn't allowed, the line he's behind is pretty bad. I want to see him get set in the pocket and throw downfield. Those are the passes I want to see.
  12. Kinnard had a penalty and some questionable plays. He was highly touted so that's something to note.
  13. The offensive line that was in got bullied pretty badly.
  14. This is a really awesome OL class in the top rounds, not just the top-3. Although the top-3 tackles in Ekwonu, Neal & Cross are top talent in their own right. Kenyon Green (LOVE), Linderbaum (LOVE), Kinnard (LOVE), Zion Johnson, Salyer, it's such a good interior class.
  15. And that’s not just an ellipsis rather three periods because this is so bloody quanky
  16. I'm up there twice a month as is but decided to make that office home over Chicago once my lease is up here. The housing & school market up there is great. And will be closer to my lake spot in the Northwoods. Soooo stoked. The lady and dog will much prefer a single-family over the Chicago 3-flat, especially if little ones start popping out. Will be staking the flag up there after all these years...Charlotte, DC, Denver, San Diego, & Chi-town all great but Madison is such a fantastic spot.
  17. C'mon Matt: Ann Arbor, MI Ranked #2 Best Place to Live in 2021 | Livability #2 behind my new spot It'll be great.
  18. Not getting my hopes up but we've seen crazier things. Such as...the last 24 hours in the NFL.
  19. Their logo is a 2-toned W. Name, Commanders. At least we just have Matt Rhule to deal with. That whole Snyder thing along with now such a comically bad create-a-team preset rebrand would have me jump ship. We should welcome DC area detractors to our bumbling fandom.
  20. To actually get all brand-splaning and designery about it--It is super generic and awkward to say. And the logo/merch leaks look awful. Also, a 3-syllable hometown & 3-syllable nickname is just clunky. 2-3, 3-2, 4-2, 2-2 all work, 3-3 rarely works. NE and TB are the only extensive ones, but both fit their areas. Washington Commanders just has a bad flow to it. This is pretty awful branding. Washington Hogs would have actually been pretty boss. Redwolves sure (the clear fan favorite). Or if military, really any other designation would have been better. Beyond the title, the very act of "commanding" instills ordering, authoritative direction. Just very odd.
