  1. Those were dark times, before the Concord Mills…
  2. He built a house in my Concord subdivision growing up. We had Natrone, Ben Coates, oh and of course NASCAR dudes. Poplar Tent represent
  3. Can't wait to see the hot takes after another weekend of CFB
  4. Natrone Means, Mark Carrier, and Michael Bates walk into a bar...
  5. 1-2 almost beat the Falcons. GTFO Get the best coach we can possibly find
  6. We have what we have. And it ain’t pretty most of the time. But it can be fun and meme worthy at other times.
  7. He’s got the tools that’s for sure and will still be a perceived high pick…but seriously, every game he just leaves me underwhelmed and it’s more than just the KY offense. He needs to improve his decision making and reading defenses; tonight was bad. Yikes but it’s not the end of the world, guys have bad days.
  8. I mean no one knows, which is why it’s even more of an easy thing to just sit aside and say you’ll laugh at all your fellow fans no matter the circumstances. If you’re THAT ready to be that annoyed about the potential scenario that we wind up with a mid round pick then I don’t know what to tell ya bud. We all want an awesome new QB. So why not just enjoy the ride that’s given? And we can’t control sh*t anyways. (Minus the one dude with like 4 accounts hyping Aqeel Glass)
  9. Weird take. Being one of the only ones who hyped him, I’m saying I’d peg him as my 4th rated QB. Who the hell is saying he’s burrow? Some great upside but yep, suspect prior to this season. Doesn’t discount what he’s doing this year. Is making all the throws you look for.
  10. MPJ’s Michigan State game had some absolute DIMES Fringe R1/R2 is Penix for me R 2-3 is McKee, McCall, & Hooker Hooker is just a tough sell. Would need to be able to start playing immediately and he has stuff to work on
  11. Mine is evolving but the guy I’m REALLY coming around to and like over Hooker, first after that top-3 is Penix Jr. His arm is arguably the best in class, has the size, no age concerns, some mechanics to improve on, but man, I’ve really liked him after diving more into Wash football. He’s made the most next level NFL throws in this class outside of Young and Levis. Seriously has some beauts. I also like McKee’s tools more than what you may get with a Hooker long term. He’s a slightly better David Mills with better downfield balls. 1. Young 2. Levis 3. Stroud 4. Penix 5. McKee 5. McCall 6. Hooker
  12. This has been brewing for a minute. Reich loves Elhinger...definitely thought this could happen before the season even started because anyone watching the Falcons last year knew Ryan was shot. Elhinger could have a Delhomme situation with Taylor, Pittman and Pierce. And the only team in front of them is the Titans with a bust likely Willis. But let us, for the love of god, stay far away. Draft draft draft
  13. For additional support (even though it's not needed), just look at the final four QBs left the past 10 years subtract Brady. It's legit all high 1st rounders minus Russ, Brees and Cousins.
  14. The Falcons game will be a god litmus test for where we are. If we get knocked down, we are who we thought we were and this was a fun week of beating a crumbling Bucs team. If we win...depending on how it looks, then things get interesting for better or worse.
  15. Yup. I'd say it's a near lock we are drafting a QB Round 1 regardless of where we land this season. It's just a matter of how mad we choose to become as fans on a week-to-week basis in respect to the tankathon sweeps because there's not much we can really do about it other than bitch about the draft position. It would have been helpful if the Bucs weren't straight up trash right now. If TB loses Thursday, we clean out ATL and are in first next week, yeah, then let's dive more into this but a loss next week, we're at 2-6, with the Ravens, Bengals, Seahawks on deck.
  16. 100%. Our modern Hang'man A quality line has finally emerged in the Carolinas. Been forever, hope they continue to trend upwards. That just makes so many people's jobs easier. If we can only figure out this QB and Head Coach thing...
  17. He really seems like a guy that loved the idea of coaching instead of actually coaching. Snow was the Xs and Os actual dude implementing game plans and Rhule is the just a face; I really never saw the pure football aptitude with him. Very politician-y. Seems way better suited to be this Czar of a mid-tier college squad that focuses on speech-circuits and recruiting.
  18. Another part of this is the fact that many of the best QBs went into teams with solid infrastructure in place to help them grow. They went from being a great prospect to solid starter to star. You can't just put a great QB prospect on a crap squad and then think something will magically happen. You need to build the staff, the entire environment that helps develop a QB into a star. They can't just plop into a team like Trevor did with the Jags. It is very rare to have what we got in Cam. So, we have this year to really fine tune things, see who are the core, who is going to help make us a great squad in the next 2-3 years. Have that in place for a guy, and our choice at 1-10ish could work out better than a crap franchise that is continuously missing at the top and not building something.
  19. Exactly. We can't control what the team does, so I'll keep watching with interest. This season has been a hell of a ride so far so might as well soak it in and enjoy whatever it turns out to be. Draft will come and we'll very likely be targeting a QB wherever we land. Seems like lost energy to get bent out of shape over our draft position on a week to week basis.
  20. Akers seems like a dude to stay away from. He was given such a prime opportunity in the Rams offense and couldn't pass Henderson. And I can see McVay turning a corner with Stafford more than Shanahan with Jimmy. That 2nd rounder is pick 43 right now which is nice.
  21. Bozeman being out there makes the QB better. Even if Elf had played good to start off the season, Brad helps pre-snap in ways Elflein isn't capable of. We've had issues with playcalling & QBs reading defenses before getting the ball (Darnold, Mayfield were not good at this. Teddy was aight/meh) so having this type of center upgrade was absolutely insanely critical. It is just an absolute shame he was sitting on the bench. Had us all think something was afoot or we were going crazy after signing a well-regarded guard/center talent that's started 4+ playoff games.
  22. Nat...never say his name. We can never say his name. How far we've come.
  23. I feel that if Wilks keeps us competitive and has the defense a fine tuned machine, then you have to consider him at the least for the DC/AHC job with a new coach. But can't force it, the new HC would have to be cool with it.
