  1. Would soften the Darnold blow, get an LT and 38 could net Howell or Corral. Pretty much the ideal scenario. Can also be done with SEA if they’re interested in moving up for Walker or Thib (if available)
  2. I'd think Baltimore could manage something like Pick 14, Pick 76 (3rd), a 2022 4th, 2023 4th Moving up 7 in the first is not equal to some player or a single midrounder
  3. Rather than a player, Ravens have 2 thirds and 5, repeat FIVE 4th rounders. Let's go for some of that please.
  4. Why did we keep that shmuck another year again? Can’t even face pre-draft press lol
  5. At this point, there’s reportedly at least 3-4 guys each teams are floating/been tied to at each pick in the top-5 haha JAX 1-Aiden, Neal, Walker, Ekwonu DET 2-Aiden, Walker, Sauce, Willis HOU 3-Sauce, Stingley, Neal, Wilson NYJ 4-JJII, Thib, Ekwonu NYG 5-Cross, Sauce, Stingley, Ekwonu, Thib This is shaping up to be such a tossup
  6. I don't want Pickett but man it would really suck to be a QB drafted by us knowing you have to pretty much win 8+ games off the bat with an unliked coach to save the team from resetting and keep the crappy coach. And if not, then being an underperforming sophomore for a rookie coach that he didn't handpick.
  7. Garrett Wilson and Jameson Williams are on that Waddle/Chase tier. Chase was insane but people forget how good of a year Waddle had with Tua and Brissett in and out. I'd peg both clearly ahead of Smith. Elsewhere: Regarding the Jermaine Johnson Jr. front (he's been my choice for the Jets at 4), could be happening. JJ Jr. (and Ickem) appear to be the names with the most smoke for them for NYJ. If that happens, whoever is left of Sauce, Thibodeaux, Walker, Stingley could be hard for NYG to pass up. Have no idea
  8. It's Rhule. Any rookie we get is going into an awful coaching situation and he better hope doesn't get ruined. We've got a guy with his head out the door already doing college speaking tours. And we've spent so much capital on what we know are already fails so the 2nd & 3rd rounders are technically busts already.
  9. Yeah take any rumor with a grain a salt when it’s this close to the draft.
  10. Just in time for us to only have Moore and not much else coming to a field near you, Fall 2023. The new regime better be set on getting a good arsenal, and most importantly, a QB if one is not taken a chance on this week.
  11. Well with this coming out, it seems there was something teams were seeing that wasn't widely released:
  12. So now our predicament gets even trickier because Neal's health concerns are his weight. And what did we just go through with Deonte? Yeahhhhh So if Icky and Cross are in fact gone, we may be staring at Pickett, Willis, Johnson, Stingley? This just got tricky if we're a team with him not on our board.
  13. Okay this one is pretty huge: Neal and Raimann are OFF team draft boards due to medical
  14. I’m always excited for the draft. I’m not however excited for this team and will be a general draft fan…who threw $15 on Neal’s +1600 odds for the #1 overall #fireRhule
  15. Fair counter assessments.I do love Garrett Wilson
  16. The abbreviated version of what I’m saying is you can still see the it factor in those early years. Lawrence looked more like Goff than Manning. There’s certain evident traits. That’s all but do agree you can’t just use the first year and say, nah they suck. Unless it’s a Rosen level guy who the team obviously doesn’t see it with.
  17. To be fair, there's also been random guys thrown to the wolves who had fared well in the 2010s that weren't even first rounders that I'd take right now. I.E. - Wilson, Cousins, Tannehill, Dak, Hurts, Minshew faired well almost immediately in their careers. Let us not forget Jerry Jones was pounding the table for Connor Cook and it's only because the Raiders took him that they "settled" for Dak lol. And then there's the 1st rounders like Herbert, Tua (was aight), Watson, Derek Carr, Mitch T, Daniel Jones, whether rookie one-hit campaigns or not, showed well and were successful to a degree. But you are right in that top-15ish range. Minus Cam, Luck, Wentz, Goff (the latter twos SB runs more courtesy of team), a lot aren't ready. But a lot of those guys end up simply never even being "developed" because they bust in development. Jimmy "developed" behind the best of them and he honestly has never looked that good. It takes a combo of the right team with the right guy. This draft is a lot like Cam's, but hoping it doesn't have as much crazy reaches. Gabbert, Locker, Ponder, all top-12. Yikes. Still remember people thinking Locker was this sensational shorter guy. But those three didn't even have good college stats., it was almost worse than this one in many respects minus Cam as the outlier. We lucked the f out. I'd gladly take Willis, Howell and Ridder over Locker and Ponder. I still feel you can see "it" pretty early regardless of the team. Mahomes and Allen had their moments where they flashed while they were still putting it all together. To be honest, I saw a deer in the headlights with Trevor that I was NOT expecting. I expected it from Lance and Wilson but not Trevor, even considering the team around him.
  18. Bills were being rebuilt and yeah, Allen took a year. Fair comp with him. It's very team dependent. Will be interesting to see how those guys pan out.
  19. Jimmy G wasn't really that good last year. Also very much disagree that 20 prosects would go last year before any this year. Last year had 15-20ish high end first rounders. And you only had like Chase, Waddle, Surtain, Slater, & Parsons perform at or above their projections. This year has like 8-9 before a drop but none are QBs. I'd take Wilson and Jameson W. over every WR but Chase and maybe Waddle (and that's arguable because all 4 are very close IMO). Aiden, Neal, Wilson, Sauce, Stingley, Thib, Jameson, Johnson Jr. all very high end talent. Unsure how I would stack Sauce and Stingley versus Surtain and Horn but Stingley has been a top name in football for like 2 years plus. Considered one of the bet CB prospects in some time barring that injury. Ickey and Cross are very much ahead of that Darrisaw/V-T/Leatherwood tier. We know how Slater has worked out, but Cross and Ickey would probably be considered right around or ahead of him prospect wise. Neal possibly ahead of Sewell. Honestly, after Pick 13 (Slater) and Jones (who let's be real, is propped up by the NE system), that First Round looks bad and the QBs aren't looking hot either. There was really like 12-15 legit talent in the top of 2021.
  20. Not defensing us missing out on picking a QB, but last year's draft class is not shaping up well. You can usually still see the talent/leadership through the poor team around them but Lawrence, Wilson, Lance, Fields, Jones all have a ways to go. And honestly, by years end, Mills looked the most polished of the bunch who wasn't necessarily on a good team or in a winning situation. Texans have more holes than Bushwood Country Club. Doesn't mean the perceived bad class will be the inverse, but it just shows how situational and much of a toss-up it can be.
  21. They're just so huge and stout. Like a big ole' missile.
  22. The 4th overall pick of 2020 Andrew Thomas is their current LT and played very good last season after an up and down rookie campaign. Think there's been a lot of smoke with the Giants given they have two picks high up. Thomas is only getting better and if they like Cross, I'm sure they have something in mind. Those two on the same line could be really solid.
  23. This is gonna be fun haha, and it starts with the first pick. There is seriously not a single pick I can really see set. Even #1 sounds between 2-4 prospects depending on the source. See some claiming Icky is in the conversation, Neal, and then the Aiden vs. Walker report. This could be bonkers.
  24. Word in the CBS realm today that Tepper is head over heels for Pickett. Stay tuned folks...
