The funniest thing for outsiders that aren't Panthers fans: We've been acting as if we're at the precipice of being contenders, more active in trades than anyone else, but at the same time don't seem to really have an identity or experience even moderate success. It was like we never accepted we were in a rebuild and just went straight to operating like a contender while saying "there's a 7-year plan". I imagine we're just a confusing team to decipher and not in a good way.

It's VERY early. Let's see how this all shakes out. Momentum seems high for Young, Stroud, McCall, and this Hall Neutral for Levis Down for Van Dyke, Richardson The only one remaining that could rise into conversation is KJ Jefferson. 6'3 235, 4.6, he's built like a light linebacker, quick & tight release, mobile, he goes through progressions well, and seems accurate deep. The rest don't really seem worth it. But at this rate, the convo should basically be Stroud v. Young. Levis isn't at their level.

I felt like the staff was more surprised than anyone when we were sitting at 3-0 and they were like, let's make a move to solidify this "playoff' team that just beat the Jets (barely), Covid Saints, & Texans. Then the wheels came off. They were so proud for like a week lol.

We could also see no plan was really in place and they're just winging it when it comes to QB, offensive philosophy, & identity. The QB shuffle we've done has been the most revealing about this regime and how they're just throwing darts and seeing what sticks. Cannot wait for a high draft pick and a fresh coach next year. It will feel like we all just finally got a massive dump out of our system and showered.

Man do I hear you. It's apathy overdrive. At our previous worst, I would at least be excited to start off the games, now, it's just general excitement for the full slate of Sunday games with better things to do. I had the place to myself with the fiance dress shopping/having a ladies Sunday, yet still had our game on mute on my mac with redzone on the actual tv. And didn't care/was cleaning the house lol. Only time it was this bad has been 2010 (but we all knew going into that season what the deal was) and that's it. Never felt that back in 01 although will say I was 14ish and it's hard to remember.

Jake's running expressions after his long bomb touchdowns were the best. It was amazing how many splash plays we got used to with him and Cam. Now every time there's a big 50+ yarder, it feels surreal and like some type of fluke lol.

You know it’s bad bc our best players are entirely distant from Rhule. CMC and DJ honestly have been since day 1.

END IT TEPPER. END IT

Corbett and Elf combined to give up interior pressure but as mentioned, a ton was on Baker. Icky has strung together good series so far and I see some really promising stuff.

Navarro was screwed for the guy the owners wanted all along. Tepper should be the Commanders owner. We should have Ben Navarro.

The worst thing that could have happened was to win today

At this point, Rhule may want to get fired sooner. He's making himself look worse for the college ranks the longer this goes. He's about to become the Akron Zips' coach at this rate. Or a CFL Assistant HC. -
The fiance had a gals day trying on dresses and I still decided to do laundry, vaccuum and dishes during our game lol

Fair haha. Some know how to maneuver and arc their throws. Baker is not one of those guys.

Haven't really followed; will have to check him out. Grayson McCall is peaking my interest VD and Levis have come down to reality a bit after getting a bit too much offseason hype. Same with Richardson.

Did anyone think they’d miss Mr. Richardson?
davos replied to TNPanther's topic in Carolina Panthers
Nah, just don't think Tepper would have such a spiraling start to ownership. He seemed like a quick learner and a guy who wanted to be at the front end of trends in the league. The entire franchise is lost in the wilderness. -
If we do that, might as well say no to any OSU QBs. That's if not more damming lol. McCall?

Tally of Everyone Who Believed in Rhule

I supported him a bit too long. Took until about midseason last year. For context, I wanted Rivera canned end of year 2. -
It's us and Atlanta. And NE/Pitt both look pretty bad but not us bad. Houston's defense is really stingy. Jaguars defense is much improved, have a good offense coalescing around Trev/Etienne/Kirk. Jets look admirable with an over the hill Flacco starting (LOVE LOVE Garrett Wilson), and Bears much better than expected. Falcons look bad. At least we aren't Cardinals fans. They just spent all that money on Kyler lol.
