Yeah it is pretty damn strange we aren't playing the guy who's legit played with Baker for the past 3 years, knows his tendencies and has caught more than a handful of TDs for.

God ESPN is damn awful. Sideline report: "He's in the ER at blah hospital getting every scan and screen imaginable done. Oh and he's stable and moving by the way, it's a neck injury"
-
I just hope he’s okay at this point. Seeing that and then not even get an “he’s stable” type announcement..holy hell
-
Oh crap, and it’s Jackson hoping for the best, friendly fire awful accidental helmet to helmet
-
He plays like he’s 5’11. Brees played like he was 6’2. Low arcing throws and he’s a loose gunslinger about things. He’s got the ability but is simply a bit of a sloppy type of QB. Less margin for error when you have the physical traits working against you.

There’s good coaches and FO guys in TEN. They’ve run into a bit of a dead end with Tannehill and kinda know it. With their D minus Landry, it’s a tough spot. Still can’t believe they were the 1 seed last year.
-
The offensive playcalling is also super telling how absolutely god awful we are. I wonder if it was Rhule actually hampering Brady on what he could do and how he had to construct the playbook. Either way, it’s embarrassing how much more poorly coached and ran we are.
-
Oh my lord the Bills are so leaps and bounds better than us. We’re frankly closer to CFL than to Bills on a CFL to Bills spectrum.
-
Between this and Chinn only in the box 20-30% of the time, and on offense the inability to carve easy plays for CMC and DJ, this is the most inept coaching staff from a playbook creation standpoint I've maybe ever seen. It's like they don't understand the talent at their disposal. At all. Burns, Chinn, CMC, & DJ should be the focal points of this team and we're not building anything for them rather jamming them into a 1999 Madden preset playbook.

Will Rhule have the players tap the sign?

2-15 since the last time we beat them. Ohhhh yeaaah -
I more interested to see how we get any passing yards against the Saints. The Giants held us to 129 even though we ran fine, and weren't giving up a ton of pressure. THE GIANTS.
-
The Giants weren't getting any crazy type of pressure, we just looked all spastic and went nowhere on offense against a rather below-average/league bottom defense. With Thib out, they had Lawrence, Williams, but their defense is a bunch of JAGs and honest, I don't recognize any of their secondary players. There's no excuse for 129 passing yards and below 50% completion against that Giants D. Awful playcalling by McAdoo. Just awful.

And the potential game sealer that went right through Luvu's hands. Although gotta say Luvu continues to be one of the few nice things I'm seeing.
-
We also deactivated Hoskins after he was active week 1. Shi is in the doghouse. Deonte is pretty much off the team. Nixon PS, Hubbard and Marshall are busts. That 2021 draft..yikes I think Tremble has a future in the NFL, unsure if we can do much with him at this juncture though.
-
Hubbard should hopefully be in there already. Shi disappointed after only showing positive on-field work so far. He was a bummer yesterday

Is Tepper still trying to get Rhule to quit before firing him?
davos replied to t96's topic in Carolina Panthers
The Panthers had $501 mil in overall revenue last fiscal year. Paying out Rhule's remaining contract would be ~6% of that. It's a hit but not unbearable. -
My perspective is it doesn't do much to complain about Tepper. Most owners are mega wealthy egotistical pricks; I just hope ours starts to involve football people to help guide him through hiring the next regime. He's definitely on a roll with poor decisions but we're kind of stuck with him unless you want to change allegiances.
-
My prediction is that Ehlinger will come in to replace Ryan sooner than later and they'll actually rebound to finish around .500.

I'm gonna stop you right there
