  1. I hope that 4.125 million/year isn't all guaranteed.
  2. I'm thinking Oher and Chandler fill similar roles as a swing tackle as mentioned. All we've done is basically swap Bell out for Oher. Nothing too bad so far.
  3. I hope this is at most what happens unless Oher has a magical career turnaround. I know the interior is solid but we've got Remmers, Chandler, Foucault, and Oher on the roster right now at tackle. Yikes.
  4. So Voth is speculating we're planning on falling back on Oher if we don't find a T in the draft? I thought we'd at least consider the Derek Newton/Barksdale/Parnell types. Well I guess we'll see what plays out.
  5. He's had 7+ TDs 2 years in a row and rocked a 60 yard PR last year. I'd take him over Ginn all day. Also, he still very much has his speed left. Not junior yr Hokie level..but still close.
  6. I guess everyone should just set their expectations Byron Bell low. But it's no guarantee he's even starting or making the team yet. We probably gave him a DeCoud/Cason type deal.
  7. I still have an odd feeling we grab Eddie Royal if the Chargers don't get him back. He could get us the production we're looking for and be our returner too. He's always struck me as a guy who was just never in the ideal situation. He's still darn fast, below 30 and could be had for probably a third of what Cobb wants.
  8. It seems he could be had in 4-6. NFL.com considers him draft fringe but doubt it now. Seems like a Getts type guy in the positives comments: http://www.nfl.com/draft/2015/profiles/deshazor-everett?id=2552254
  9. I'm wondering if there's a better chance we get Fisher at 25 than 57. Unless La'el somehow drops, I really think we wind up with Fisher or Humphries. Crisp later on could happen too.
  10. I like it although I think Fisher goes late 1st/early 2nd if a good deal of GMs think he's a plug-and-play LT.
  11. So long Gregory...again. And jeez, some people need to get over that sometimes, you need to let good talent go. Seems like many are acting like he was way better than he actually was...plus the guy has always been a headcase, prior to the whole domestic bs.
  12. Nickel is basically a starter in our defense. The argument is not saying we're benching or downgrading Bene, just using him at his best capacity in case we come across a natural outside fit. He can play outside well, and it may be the case in 2015 but it's not out of the realm of possibilities.
  13. I agree with the Bene at Nickel if we find a more natural outside guy. The top of the draft is really solid with those types...the rest is cluttered with these small framed nickels and Tampa 2 guys all lacking deep speed. We need deep speed. Bene is great but valid points have been brought up.
  14. He pretty much solidified he won't be available by the time our 2nd round pick. I guess the question is could he be our BPA at 25 over some CBs, OTs, OLBs, and WRs? By the end of the draft process, that could be the case.
  15. Fisher/Humphries + a Crisp in the later rounds would be a solid haul
  16. In agreement here. We may find a Klein/Glanton upgrade later on that can fill the Will spot. Given TD swaps between the two and is pretty much strictly our Sam, then an argument can be made to get a more natural-Will for our base packages.
  17. Ha no worries. Yeah Fisher seems to be on the rise. Kind of reminds me a bit of Lane Johnson from a few years back. Not a 4th overall pick (Because he was inconsistent at times apparently) but both are around the same size, were TE converts, and owned the shuttle drill.
  18. I've seen you mention Eric Fisher a few times now...do you mean Ereck Flowers or Jake Fisher?
  19. That'd be interesting and I'd definitely not be dissapointed. But if we're saying then Thompson at OLB is a possibility, then I wouldn't look past Paul Dawson as well. That kid is damn good.
  20. It's been brought up a handful of times recently. Could happen is he's available at 25.
