  1. I wouldn't necessarily compare the 2 since they're pretty different as player types and for situational use (even if Frank starts to get playing time)
  2. I think the defensive linemen we could draft could be a multi-tech DT or more of a balanced DE that could be behind CJ but ahead of Horton/Alexander. Addison is a nice speed rusher but an upgrade over Frank and Horton would be most beneficial. But that being said, I'd be comfortable with the group as is going into the season.
  3. With the Tillman signing, we have now signed 17 players this offseason. Tied for 3rd most pickups in the league. Take that for what it's worth...if anything.
  4. He could still have 2 years left and is a legit mentor. Not just some vet. I like this a lot.
  5. LBs get lost in the shuffle during the FA and some good ones can be quietly talked about.... Jacquian Williams. 4-3 OLB 6'3" 225 lbs, from the Giants. I don't think he's been signed anywhere and all has been really quiet on his front. Weird thing is that he's produced...not a playmaker but really solid. 76 tackles last season too and is only 25.
  6. I'm trying to see the angle from which you're saying this...mind helping me out here?
  7. The draft is too unpredictable to be that specific about where guys are picked. Also, as PhillyB said, I think it would depend on who's available where and when on draft day for DG.
  8. If we could land mid-teens that could be in range for someone like Trae Waynes or Devante Parker/Kevin White They may really like Peat too. He's the guy that I could see going the highest at tackle. Has everything you want from a measurables standpoint...so if a GM is convinced he can make the transition well, I could see that making him high on teams' boards. How funny would it be if they traded up for a RB? This board would implode haha. But it's all speculation really so I won't put a ton of merit to the rumor.
  9. Good thread. Craziest: Gwar back in like 2005 in Charlotte I'll never forget going to Bonnarroo back in 06'. Radiohead & MMJ were everything I hoped for (first time seeing both of them live).
  10. Good finale. Really liked the first season. including a great BB reference:
  11. My TV death guesses (excluding some of them for book spoiler purposes) are: Bronn (Given the Oakheart storyline w/ one of the sandsnakes) Greyworm Meryn Trant
  12. Outside the first, for me there's only a handful that stand out: Nelson Agholor Rashad Greene Justin Hardy Kenny Bell Stefon Diggs Lippett and McBride are maybes for me. I'm thinking Ty Montgomery could be had in R6/7.
  13. I think it could very much be like the Leena Heady thing from last year...And yeo, I've heard the rumblings about Trystane=fAegon with Jaime in a Duckfield role. It could all be nothing though so I'm not getting my hopes up but I do think the show does some crazy deviation/fast forward this year that hasn't been discussed a ton yet. I definitely think Bronn dies in Dorne though regardless. Loses his head to Hotah methinks.
  14. The actor grabbed the duck at the end of an interview and said it's a spoiler for book readers. Then said, "think about it"
  15. Jay Ajaye and Buck Allen stick out the most to me outside of Gurley, Gordon, and Coleman.
  16. Kim! I'd like to think they have outro plans for some characters that don't need to be killed off at the end of the series. I think it'd be cool if she was still alive, just never talked about on BB. I think it'd be sweet if the show time jumped the whole BB series to see how he becomes Gene.
  17. Cool theory I've come across recently (LONG read haha) http://asoiaf.westeros.org/index.php/topic/126880-one-god-two-gods-red-god-blue-god-melisandre-and-the-nights-queen/
  18. Now we've got Trusnik in the mix. Really an interesting crop of FAs I think it'd be interesting to ask who people think could contribute the most. My guess is Coleman at this point.
  19. I think this has been confirmed before but regardless, he's an interesting prospect. I don't trust a lot of the perceived speedy WR prospects but I'd put Dorsett ahead of Lockett and Bell. He really has that burst that can clear a defense beyond just the college level.
  20. In the early rounds, Gurley, Gordon, Ajaye, and Coleman would be great. Beyond that, Buck Allen, Taz Crockett, David Johnson, and Langford look like cool choices.
  21. I still like Fisher...but I really think there's going to be even better talent there for us at 25. I actually think most tackles take a fall in this draft. A big thing I'm wondering is if one of the commonly expressed "1st rounders" are sitting there at 57. Also, this is one of the more conflicted tackle classes I've seen in some time when looking on the web or whatever resource. There are lists with almost every prospect from Peat to Scherff to Collins to Humphries to Clemmings to Fisher being the top OT group. I just don't see a single one that stands above the rest and screams "draft me" over the others.
  22. For the draft: 2 of our first 3 picks are initially freakout/wtf picks for about an hour and then mostly everyone settles down and loves the whole draft. Then...the week after there are heated debates on what we should of done and who we didn't take...aAAhhhhh. There will also be pie-hungry threads explaining why our draft is awesome and on the flip-side, heated ones with the debbie downers. Booo. Then, there will be these "Let's just put this all in perspective with the grander plan" threads that teeter out towards the end of the debates. No LTTTTT!!! Nooooooooo
