  1. CJ is still a has been a better overall QB than Bryce.
  2. i really dont think the playbook is that limited. i think they are just running what bryce young is comfortable with. he doesnt like play action under center and doesnt throw to the middle of the field especially with his bad footwork. he likes gun and rpos where he can face the line and see what they are doing.
  3. That's my point also. Stroud has been to the playoffs multiple times. If we are just gonna cherry pick games, then this exercise won't matter. The real question is if you had both of them in camp who would win out? I say Stroud by a land slide. He would do much better her and they would be worse with Bryce. Maybe not as many turnovers, but certainly less explosive
  4. you mean wide, wide open. some of those guys were open by 6 yards.
  5. I think he feels that the scheme is holding him back.
  6. these are the plays that make the difference. him being late on that throw caused that because of bad footwork.
  7. clearly??? has etienne even played enough to determine that?
  8. honestly i am more concerned about that defense at the end. we just kept giving up chunk plays. i would be super aggressive there. a turnover wins the game. if they get a td you still have plenty of time on the clock. and you have the opportunity to tie or win . made no sense
  9. i think he will have to throw early on those slants and digs and inbreaking passes. and put mustard on them. he cant float them like he does now.
  10. i am going to wait until the all 22 comes out before i make judgement. sometimes on tv we think that that only routes we see are the ones he called, but it can also be that bryce just didnt throw them. Kurt warners breakdown of bryce shows that he leaves some plays on the field. he is most comfortable to the boundaries and outside the numbers not in the middle of the field.
  11. they are rookies, calm down! they will make mistakes. overall the draft class was good
  12. Whose gonna see over the oline to see him? . That we would have to be Shaq Seriously though, I think we need a playmaking TE. And a QB willing to throw the slant, post and dig
