    you dont draft out of need. thats how you get in trouble. this draft is loaded at dt and edge players. that means you can get them throughout the draft. why not grab the best wr in the draft while you can and spend the rest of fa and the draft on defense. my point was that any rookies we get this year on defense , wont move the needle that much. it will be 2 years before most of them do that.

    we also have to think about this. any defensive prospect we draft is going to take time to contribute to this team this year. defensive players take a while before thier impacts are felt. Tmac can come in and make a difference immedetialy. He pushes good recievers down a slot where they can get favorable coverages. imagine a 3wr lineup of Tmac, XL and coker in the slot!!!

    i honestly would prefer tmac in the first and all other picks and free agency be defense. he will help you as a wr now, way before a dt or de will this year. People think the draft will fix the defense this year...it wont. it will take at least 2 years for defensive draft picks to make a difference.

    I honestly wouldn't mind them taking Tet first and defense every other pick. Any defensive player we take probably won't help us until year 3. Tet would help us immediately.

    probably because they are not as scheme diverse. you have to take them out on passing downs. His scheme seems to favor being in base alot and not alo t of blitzing.

    Imagine Tmac on the outside , Coker playing the slot, and XL playing the other side.

    The game with Tampa makes me think we should go after Tmac and fill the defense from free agency.

    I don't know why this came in my head, but watching Jayden and Baker run, I don't think Bryce could do that. I think he would get hospitalized if he did.

    What does this have to do with anything? You think he is doing this instead of getting in his playbook every day? Do you want him to live in the facility?

    Exactly. We are so used to such atrocious play, mediocre play looks great.

    You guys do realize that there are good and bad 4-3 defenses right? Switching to a 4-3 won't magically make us better . Nostalgia withstanding.
