    No disagreement with you on the evils of reaching. Just seems fortuitous that our most glaring need aligns with the strength of this draft. I would think that would improve the probability of getting potential starters in the first three rounds. But, yeah, Gettleman screwed the pooch with the Norman fiasco.

    Meh. If the scouting department and Morgan are pounding the table, that T-Mac is truly BPA at 8 then go with it, I guess. I’d rather see us go front seven with the first three picks, and that would be drafting into the strength of this draft. Crazy concept, right?

    I had a crush on Hooker. Rather than ‘go get your guy’, I was content to take Hooker in the late first or early second. Interesting that Johnson wants to bring him to LVR. He must see something in Hooker. Time will tell if he is starter material or just a placeholder who knows the offense until someone better can be brought in.
