  1. But who sits in the left seats? I’m so confused…
  2. I think we should trade Grier straight up for Kyle Allen. Do it Marty, you know you want to...
  3. Muscle memory. The off hand is for stiff arming defensive linemen who are in his face after having collapsed the Jets offensive line. If our O-line can be credible, the off hand placement should look more normal after a few games.
  4. "Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?"
  5. Tomato, mayo on white bread is a summer tradition around here. You must not be from around here. j/k
  6. They never call, they never write…
  7. I like butter. It adds a richness and depth to many sauces.
  8. Sadly, when last with the Panthers and at his previous weight, 'yes'.
  9. No, just no. Horrible risk/reward until there is clarity on his legal status and resolution of civil suit.
  10. This is the way. Camp cuts for depth, bottom of roster churn. Rare but sometimes a starter quality player gets cut from a team deep at a particular position. I'm sure Fitterer and Rhule know which teams have that dilemma at OL and FS and are watching.
  11. Oh, I am excited about Sam’s potential. I think he will surprise to the upside. I believe he is capable of becoming Jake 2.0, and that will be good enough for me when combined with the other roster moves, especially on defense.
  12. I respectfully disagree, in part. Sean Ryan and Brady will spend 'quality time' with Sam, doing film study. Lots and lots of it. And then lots of repetition in training camp. You can beat muscle memory into most willing athletes who want to get better. Where the line is between coaching and 'between his ears' is too subjective. In the end, he has to mentally internalize the film study. I would say 70/30 on the ratio between coaching, film study, repetition and mental process/self awareness. Who can say for sure?
  13. IMO, this is the strongest argument for leaving Moton at RT. In staffing, you only rarely take a high performing employee out of a well run business unit to fortify a struggling one. In theory or on paper, the move makes sense but actual results almost always disappoint and you end up with suboptimal performance in both business units. At least in business, this strategy fails more often than it succeeds.
  14. IF... Disclosure: I voted Daley just need him to stay healthy for full season.
  15. I was going to say, 'adult supervision' but I'll take 'competency', as well...
