This is about the fairest assessment of Sam unrealized potential. Limited by our team roster and coaching deficiencies, but not going to get us much beyond .500. Hat tip to you, sir.

This problem will resolve when we start eleven safeties in a never before seen in the NFL, hybrid defensive scheme. It may not work but by gawd, it will be novel and entertaining.

I'm a little dubious of Elf at LG but I approve of the rest of the lineup...

Maybe not. Supposedly, we were going to rescue Darnold from the Jets and, instead, we put him behind an Oline that was arguably as bad or worse than the Jets. Darnold started hearing voices in his head and 'happy feet' is what we got. I'm NOT saying that his rehabilitation is assured or even likely, just that it is still possible. A stout Oline made Jake look good. Lightning can strike twice. Maybe. [The eternal triumph of hope over experience.]

Despite the language of Rhule's contract about having final say, the feel of this offseason is that the adults are in charge, i.e. Fitterer and Morgan. I like the FA signings thus far, especially the commitment to the Oline. If my speculation is correct, Tepper has clipped Rhule's wings and letting real football people do their job.
