  1. I’ve got them Mayer, Washington, Kincaid but would be thrilled to have any of the three. Mayer goes mid 1R but Kincaid or Washington should be available in 2R. Below these three, there may be potential starters in 3R.
  2. “Appear weak when you are strong, and strong if you are weak.”
  3. I assume your question was rhetorical, since to ask the question is to give the answer. They can’t.
  4. I like this thinking. Carr, trade back, Mayer/Washington, Flowers/Johnston/Addison and then Hooker in R2 if he is still available for the developmental QB.
  5. Rhule was tossed mid season. Fit definitely has Rhule’s number.
  6. Actual player development by highly experienced coaches who know their stuff? What a concept. Who knew?
  7. If the Panthers re-sign Darnold, the Huddle will have a collective aneurysm.
  8. Splash free agent vs Darnold, Minshew, Brissett is the tip off to whether this coaching staff thinks they can contend this year for the division or will build instead for the longer term future, using bridge free agent and the anointed franchise savior rookie.
  9. With a hat tip to Samuel Beckett… ”Ever tried, ever failed, no matter. Try again, cheat again, cheat better.”
  10. Russell Wilson’s new office…
  11. I’m not understanding this. Gannon is expressing buyer’s remorse after hiring Rallis? If not this, what?
  12. Reich was a student at Reformed Theological Seminary here in Charlotte between 2003-2006. It is not entirely unreasonable to think that the football gods may smile kindly on Reich and Panthers.
  13. Contrary to some on the Huddle, I would be thrilled to see the Falcons go this route. Lamar will wreck that franchise for many years to come. Do it, Falcons. Please do it.
  14. I know I will get pooed for this but, if the top four are gone at 1R9, take BPA. Trade back up into 1R mid or late round and take Hooker. This seems like a lower risk, high value get at QB. For those who will poo this suggestion, "I am immune to your disdain."
  15. I’m not sure about field vision but, 58:5 indicates he’s pretty good at not throwing interceptions. The best comment I have read on Hooker is that he has beautiful, NFL ready footwork and throwing motion, climbs the pocket well and 58:5. He would not be a bad consolation prize if the top four are gone.
  16. I’d be thrilled if there was a college QB in this draft that is the equivalent of John Stockton, the ‘Silent Assassin.’ Bryce Young may be it.
  17. Or Theisman. Not quite Tarkenton but a reasonable knock-off…
