Not a secret that we need more draft picks, especially with a draft class thought to be stronger than typical. Burns needs to be monetized into draft picks. Trading back from 33 may be necessary, as distasteful as that is. Morgan has his work cut out for him the next 2-3 drafts.

Yes, which is why we need more draft picks to maximize this deeper draft. We need to move Burns for picks and/or consider trading back for additional picks. 33 is a very nice position to pick some first round talent that dropped to the second day but, if we can get two starters out of this, we ought to work the phones hard to see what we can get… assuming we don’t screw the pooch again with scouting.

Please, do not scare the FA’s. It tough enough to get good players that want to come to this dumpster fire.

Why would Chris Jones come this dumpster fire, other than throwing an obscene amount of money at him? As others have said, this is the year to prove that Bryce can or can’t be our QB of the future so, giving him weapons and shoring up the OL is job one, two and three.

Theoretically, you could fix or at least mitigate Leaf’s problems through coaching, a fanatical commitment to film study (a la Luke) and LOTS of repetition (muscle memory). I’m not sure that the weight room and nutrition will fix Young’s physical limitations.

The initial trade for Darnold was a low cost, potentially high reward QB reclamation project, but that contract extension? I lost my sh*t over the Burns non-trade.
