LaMelo makes this team watchable, I pray he doesn’t leave us.

Well…. Ish Smith is fun to watch.
-
This feels like deja vu.

Cody Martin is our sixth man… lord help us.
-
This hasn’t been a fun start… we still don’t have a rim protector.

He seemed to be first off the bench to spell Mason in preseason and I’ve watched a few press conferences where they keep talking him up for some odd reason.
I don’t think we’ll see much of him because I expect us to go small with P.J. before putting in Richards but I still think there’s a possibility he gets in the game.

Especially with the new TV deal. I saw it was worth 8 billion a year, which doubles the last one.
100%, Bridges is looking at Jerami Grant’s and Harrison Barnes’ contracts and wondering why he can’t get paid $20M a year when the cap is only going to continue to go up.

Looks like no Rozier tonight.
The starting five is:
PG- LaMelo Ball
SG- Gordon Hayward
SF- Kelly Oubre
PF- Miles Bridges
C- Mason Plumlee
I’d expect Ish Smith, Cody Martin, Jalen McDaniels, P.J. Washington, and possibly Nick Richards to get some run tonight. I assume James Bouknight will get a little run as well.
I’m not expecting to see Vernon Carey, Kai Jones, or JT Thor and obviously Scottie Lewis and Arnoldas Kulboka are two-way players.

Las year Bridges was like four made free throws away from becoming the 11th player in NBA history to record a 40-50-90 season, pay the man and realize that these types of contracts represent the new NBA.

The big thing here as that there are really no free agents for them to sign.
It was big last year for them because it allowed them to keep Gourde, Goodrow, Coleman, and Johnson, all of who are gone now.
If Kucherov is out for a lengthy period of time then the Lightning could really struggle.

Thank God for this hockey team because the Panthers have taken the joy out of football for me.

Good win, off until Thursday so I guess I’ll subject myself to Hornets basketball on Wednesday.

Going to have to go upstairs on Saros. Smaller goalie so room is available.

Can’t score if you don’t shoot and no one wanted to.

TDA’s shot always seems to get through which is a nice change from Babchuk, Faulk, and Hamilton.

My stream is behind I was referring to when KK hit the post but that was a nice shot by Fast.

KK has one of the better shots in the league when he can get it off.

Goalies can be vastly different season to season also Anderson playing very well so far.
That’s very true and Andersen does look solid early.

So far they have lost to the Kraken (giving them their first win) also Saros has a .870 save % on the season to Anderson's .893 ATM that is an inccorect statement and a goalie is only as good as the defense in front of him.
Lol come on, you can’t use one game to justify your point.
Last year Saros was one of the best goalies in the NHL and kept Nashville in the series against us.

Let them seek it, we were and still are a far better team.
We’re a better team but they have by far the better goalie which is the great equalizer. It’ll be a battle.
As a team Nashville doesn’t scare me but Saros always seems to play us well.
Hoping that he struggles tonight.

Not sure why you even brought it up TBH... Pre season is about chemistry and deciding your roster not wins and losses.
Obviously, regardless of the sport, preseason is exactly what it is… preseason.
Simply bringing it up because we faced them in the preseason and they played us really well but they were also icing an NHL lineup in both games.

I think the Canes will be ready, RBA never really put out a full NHL lineup for the preseason games and for the most part he didn’t use lines that he’s using now.
Nashville will see a different team from the one they played in preseason.

Tell me about Bouda
Highly skilled winger from Stanford and I wouldn’t be shocked if he eventually ends up overseas. His journey will probably look similar to Cyle Larin’s. The MLS will help him get better technically for a few years then he’ll move on to Europe. There’s nothing wrong with that though, that’s how MLS teams make money.
Bouda’s willingness to take players one on one is what makes him exciting and his speed and overall skill are top notch.
He has 9 goals and 13 assists in his 33 games with Stanford.

I’ll be following, unfortunately I don’t live in the area anymore but I’ll definitely go to games when Charlotte plays Orlando City.
I’m definitely looking forward to the SuperDraft and expansion draft, I actually coached against the kid that went number one overall in the 2021 MLS SuperDraft.
If Ousseni Bouda comes out he has to be the pick in the SuperDraft.
I’m excited to see the player pool for the expansion draft.

I was upset that we traded Graham but if Ish Smith plays like this all year then I’ll all but forget about Graham.
