  1. Some are saying that this is the generic version but the actual version will have more details… not sure.
  2. Refs took a possession away from us but overall I’ll give credit to the team for fighting back. The starters really stepped up tonight but our bench provided nothing. It was also nice to see us finally go zone.
  3. LaMelo with the triple-double: 23 points, 12 boards, 10 assists
  4. Geeze another one at the buzzer… this team blows.
  5. LaMelo is officially on triple-double watch. 16-8-8 and counting.
  6. End of quarters have been an experience with this team.
  7. Forever giving up three’s at the end of the quarter.
  8. Hahaha true. Not many guys have the stamina to just keep running like those guys. It’s actually comical trying to watch Hayward keep up sometimes. It does occasionally create a nice shot at the top of the arc on the secondary break though.
  9. LaMelo is a menace when he’s out and running, it’s a shame our team can’t hold up with his play style. Not that any other team could either.
  10. I’d like to see Richards get some burn with the first team. I think he runs the floor better than Plumlee and unlike Plumlee he he doesn’t try to bring the ball up the court. I feel like LaMelo could hit him for some easy lobe.
  11. Defense has been okay to start the game but we aren’t knocking down threes like we usually do.
  12. Carmelo always lights us up. Man could be in a wheel chair and still drop 50 on us.
  13. Still giving up wide open threes… luckily they’ve been missed so far.
  14. Richards has looked solid. Excited to see what he can do with additional minutes. Wouldn’t surprise me if he was a 10P/7R/2A guy.
  15. Graham is averaging 16.5PPG, 5.2APG, 3.1RPG, 1.5SPG. He’s also shooting 37% from the field and 35% from three. This is in 32MPG. Rozier may very well end up averaging 20+PPG by the end of the year but is four extra points per game worth an additional $7M per year? We’d have definitely had a chance to land Holmes if we kept Graham instead of Rozier.
  16. That’s become a huge issue. Not to mention, most of his fouls are pointless fouls.
  17. Apparently Dicks Sporting Goods in Charlotte screwed up and leaked the kits today. So Dicks all but confirmed that they accidentally released the kit… It was to be expected that the kits would be simple for the first year but these are borderline ugly. The Detroit Lions sleeves and the v-neck collar are atrocious. Thoughts?
  18. I actually like Graham over Rozier as well due to the age and he’s probably a tad cheaper.
  19. Dicks Sporting Goods may have screwed the pooch. These were dropped today. I’m hopeful this isn’t one of the kits cause this poo is ugly. The sleeves and neck are atrocious. The sleeves need to be all white without the Detroit Lions crap on them and the v-neck has got to go.
  20. This isn’t it at all. Jordan has stepped away from the team for the most part. This is Kupchak’s team and it’s built well. The Hornets spent to the cap this year and the only true mistake that was made was trading for Plumlee instead of trying to sign Richaun Holmes, Daniel Theis, or Hassan Whiteside. There isn’t a single player that we’ve let go in the past six years that we should have held on to other than Christian Wood (and at the time he was not the player that he is today). Some may argue that we should have kept Graham but there wouldn’t have been enough minutes to go around between him, LaMelo, and Rozier. My only gripe with the front office this year is that they lowballed Bridges. There’s really no excuse for that. Most of this teams issues fall on JB. He has stressed the importance of defense time and time again yet we are still giving up 115+ points a game. JB seems like a nice guy and seems to be great at developing talent but the X’s and O’s just aren’t there right now.
  21. I don’t think there is a whole lot here but this is interesting in that this is the first time that LaMelo has publicly talked about playing time. In LaMelo’s defense, he played about three minutes under his average and to be honest he should probably be getting 36 minutes per game. On the other hand… in JB’s defense, LaMelo entered the game with the Hornets up by 7 and he was on the floor for 20 of the 22 points in the Clippers 22-0 run. It will be interesting to see how this plays out tonight.
