The funny thing about the standings is that the Atlantic is going to get fuged because the Metro is down for the first time since the divisions were redrawn. It looks like it’ll be: New York / Philly or Detroit Carolina / Washington Florida or Boston / Toronto Florida or Boston / Tampa

Looking more and more like we’ll get Washington in the first round unless the Flyers go on a run.

It would be nice to get him signed so he could start practicing and get an early jump on next year. -

At what point are we worried that Morrow isn’t going to sign? Thinking if he hasn’t signed by the end of next week then he may not sign at all. If he goes back to school then it’s a foregone conclusion that he has no plans to be a Hurricane. -
I can see that. If they get by Illinois though they are definitely F4 bound. I don’t see Clemson or Bama beating them. Hell, I didn’t see Carolina beating them either.

Marquette is pretty average. Thought Illinois deserved that #2 seed. Instead Illinois gets the #3 seed and has to play UConn lol.

Scott Morrow’s season is now over, hopefully the Canes can get him signed. Assuming we can bring Skjei and Chatfield back: Slavin - Burns Orlov - Chatfield Skjei - Morrow -

This was about two years ago. He joined the Flyers today. And this won’t have any affect on Nikishin. Fedotov was trying to avoid his conscription, Nikishin has already completed his. -
And they look even better now. It would have been nice to make the F4 but I don’t see how any team beats them.
-
Feel like UConn is going to work everyone anyway.
-
Coaching matters, Oats worked Hubert in the second half.
-
Spoke to soon on Withers.
-
Withers gave Carolina a chance.
-
Caleb Love from three.

High on Ray Davis because he fits with Canales’ scheme. He’s got a chip on his shoulder and has shown the ability to produce on both good and bad teams. He’s got some of if not the best feet in the draft and he finishes through contact. He’s also pretty explosive for a guy his size.

I get not a lot of people watch ACC ball but it’s Payton Wilson for me and I’m a UNC guy. Wilson arguably had the best season of any linebacker in FBS football last year and he does everything well. He can get after the QB, stop the run, he’s great in coverage, his angles are excellent, etc… All of his question marks (i.e. injury history, strength, and age) have nothing to do with his actual play. Just watch his tape against UNC, he absolutely dominated. His competitive nature is exactly what the Panthers need. I’d take the risk that his injury history is behind him and that with some NFL weight lifting, he’ll get a little stronger.

The new lines seem to infer that Rod wants a better forechecking presence on each line and I’m for it. I’ll stand by the fact that you can’t win the cup unless all lines are contributing offensively. The new lines have a forechecking presence to go with some offense. When fully healthy go: Guentzel - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - Staal - Teravainen Martinook - Kuznetsov - Necas Noesen - Drury - Fast Lemieux - Kotkaniemi -
Who will score first. Svechnikov or Tony DeAngelo

See ya presidents trophy, we hardly knew ya.

This looks like a Bill Peters game to me. We look decent but all shots are from the outside, we’re just playing catch with Ned.
-
Yeah, everything is from the outside. Kuzy tried on that last shift but the Pens collapsed the middle.
-
Ned is seeing everything. Need a net front.
-
If there was ever a time for a PP goal.
-
Kooch saved the game right there.
-
Drury stays getting lit up.
